That would be sweet, but I doubt it...that would be giving too much value. they are saving that for the next edition's release. I hate dvd's/blu rays where there is additional content the publisher holds back for the "Super Duper Special Edition"

The flash sideways was their afterlife. It was a place that is created for you to find the people you love and remember the life you had with them. Once you did that you could move on. In the afterlife time wasn't an issue. There was no sense of time.
People's stories were different than their real life because they were tools that were needed by the specific person in order to let them move on. Jack needed his son to exist, Locke needed Helen in his life. Sawyer had to be a cop, Hurley had to be lucky. They needed these crutches to exist until they found each other and connected and remembered their life.
Being on the Island with each other was the most significant things in their life, and they all did it together. That is why they all had to "wait" for each other to remember.
Jacob said that he brought them to the Island because they were like him and they had a hole that needed to be filled and that the Island could do that. The Island didn't fill that hole, it didn't fix them. The people on the Island is what fixed them.Michigan WolverinesChicago White SoxComment

I was wondering the same thing. when the individual seasons were released did they have the pop up versions? I would like to watch the whole series with those pop ups.Comment

They "proved" themselves by re-living their lives and making different, better choices along the way, and without the outside influence of Jacob and the Island to throw them off. Not perfect, but better, to varying degrees. Jack, Locke, Sawyer, Ben, Hurley, Sun & Jin didn't fall into the same destructive patterns of behaviour that they did in their "real" lives.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. Richard's version of the flash-sideways likely involved him re-living his life in the 19th century and "moving on" long before the Losties did.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. Re: *** Lost: Season 6 (Final Season) ***
When Sawyer is holding Juliet at the very beginning of the season as she is dying she says to him "we can go dutch" and he has no idea what she is talking about. Then, they meet up in the afterlife and kiss and he says he just used his dollar so he won't be able to buy two coffees and she says "we can go dutch" to him while crying/smiling.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that.
Also, note that when Sawyer unplugged/replugged the vending machine and the chocolate bar was released, Juliet said, "It worked."
Re: *** Lost: Season 6 (Final Season) ***
I think after a while, maybe a couple years, this finale will be looked at as one of the best ever. The reason I think this is because at that time people won't be focusing on all the little things and how they relate to the whole show, but rather just the episode itself. And the episode, in its execution, was nearly perfect. The reason for so many of these complaints is only because of the flaws in the answers it provided. My football alliances: E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles AND Hokie Hokie Hokie HiComment

Re: *** Lost: Season 6 (Final Season) ***
I was hoping Flash Forward would be it, but it failed (my opinion).
Fringe is great, but too episodic to have this effect.
Heroes...eh, it's done and I was done with that a few seasons ago.
There is nothing with a mystery. We need a new one, but we probably won't get a good one for a long, long time. Anyone that comes after is going to fail trying to copy the business model."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
