Damn, it was a terrible after season 1 but I didnt know it was doing bad...

As for what to watch now, I have nothing..I was hoping Heroes would go back into the right direction but I guess not lol...I'm waiting for True Blood to come back...

Im currently watching 24 (never seen the series) on Netflix, I must say that season 1 is not holding my interest, does the series get better or is the show just overrated???

The first season of 24 is fantastic, then season 2 tapers off a little bit for me. Season 3 is all around great, then you have yet another good TV with season 4 and 5. Season 6 is ok, I don't hate it like others did and Season 7 was good but a bit too much crazy stuff going on that I could see people tuning out. I'm hoping to catch Season 8 soon.

We are going to begin watching LOST again with season 1 starting this weekend. Hoping to catch a few things now that I have seen the entire series.

Just sold season's 1 thru 5 for $200.00.

All unopened. I decided to sell them since I'm going to get the blu-ray box set when it comes out.

I just watched season 1 and I'm really not sure if I will keep on watching. It was an epic season that they tied up everything in the last episode.

I think I will spend my time on The Wire.

Seriously, don't waste your time. Everything after Season 1 was just downright awful.

I keep saying this but if you take away the flash-sideways stories I think your opinion changes. Imagine instead if the Oceanic 6 had to go back and once returning we jump straight into Jacob and MiB. None of this bomb stuff, none of this time jumping. Just get to the Island and serve your purpose.

That's essentially the Island story and if the above happened, I bet less people would be upset.

It's only purpose was to give us some history and to explain that they had been through this before. But, a lot of it could have been achieved the way the Lostie stories were explained in Seasons 1-3 - flashbacks.

I disagree as I don't see how Ben fits in that role, but I respect your opinion. I just don't think you should judge the ending based on what you would have rather seen. We still got closure to the Island story. There is a replacement and the Smoke Monster is dead.

Again, the flash-sideways should have never happened.

Great points. You're right. If they never had the flash-sideways I probably would have liked it a lot better.

I really didn't like how the writers made it seem like the bomb explosion created a different reality.
I wonder if the DVD's will include the option to remove the side flashes? It'd be cool to see how it would have played out without them.

Still, my biggest wish is that they would have tied the Hanso Group, Dharma initiative and the Numbers more to the ending.
We still know nothing about Widemore and the 'rules' he and Ben had to play by.
Why were those Temple folks even brought up? Again, it seemed like more filler.

Oh well. I'm over it now. It's just a TV program. It's just that I feel cheated for spending so much time dissecting and analyzing all the cool mysteries and puzzles they raised in the first 3 seasons.
They really had no bearing on anything as it ended up being nothing but a God vs Satan metaphor and the Losties gaining peace in their lives.
Maybe that would have meant more to me if I actually liked most of the characters. I cannot tell you how much I hated Jack. Not only was his character annoying but Matthew Fox is a brutal actor. Just like his PoF colleagues they all think good acting equates to blinking and stammering through every line. And I hated how he appeared to be on the verge of tears and out of breath regardless of the situation.

Truer words have never been spoken. Loved Heroes S1 but stopped watching halfway through S2. Talk about a colossal collapse.

My girlfriend and I were having this conversation yesterday.

I'm guessing we will start watching Mad Men and The Wire. I'm looking forward to True Blood - but it's not "must watch the night it's on and discuss at great lengths" like LOST.

I was really hoping that Happy Town would be good. It had the same feel as 'Harpers Island'.
I know that Harper's Island was corny, but it was fun viewing and a great mystery to try and figure out.
Happy Town just didn't do it for me.

It wasn't technically ebay, it was a subsidiary of ebay called kijiji.
