I still don't understand the scene with Isabella. It's supposedly the monster taking her form, but we learned in last week's episode that the monster can only take the form of those whose bodies are on the island.

Good point on the Isabella observation, I never thought of that before you just mentioned it. Either it's just a mistake on the producer's part and they won't explain it anymore or Richard had her ashes with him(I know it doesn't make much sense, but it's all I could think of).

My theory on why the MIB wants all of the candidates to go on the plane with him is because he doesn't know who the successor is yet, and so he wants to kill them all. I just thought about that at the end of this Richard episode when Jacob said that someone else will just take his place, and MIB said that he'll kill them also. I don't think he can kill the candidates and so he wants them all together and one of them, or a non-candidate, make a mistake and kill everyone.

edit, also, did you guys know the Finale airs on a Sunday? I just found that out and thought it was weird, so what do we have tomorrows episode, then the following Tuesday we have another, then that following Sunday is the finale?

I wish they would just not talk about it. I mean I get that they dont want a "sopranos" backlash so they are being up front, but they are already making "excuses" or something, they should just let it be at this point and stop setting things up. they have one of the single best shows in the history of television. they did it simply by telling their story. unless the stop doing that in the finale, whatever they do to finish it should be enough in my book.

I hope after they do a FAQ episode or article or something like that. I'm still going to have questions they cannot answer in 4 episodes.

Also by the way Jack returned to the island, I think he's the candidate. And now Locke will proceed in trying to kill him over the next 4 episodes.
