- Russell once again proves he's a Survivor Legend. I wonder how much editing was involved in the Dave chasing Russell scene. Dave is a personal trainer so I have a hard time believeing Russell got away and found the HII. I'm guessing Dave was following Russell around for a few minutes and than just stopped doing it. I give Russell credit for not falling for Monica's trap. It's going to be a crime if he doesn't win this season.
- John made the correct move last night. He will never have these kind of odds to win a million dollars so it was smart for him to guarantee himself at least 3 more days. This is the kind of power move you can sell to the jury if you make it to the final 3. A part of me wants to see Jaison make it to the final 3 just to hear his answer of why he deserves to win over Russell.
- Breaking news: Brett actually has a voice
- Kelly looked really good last night. She's one of the rare Survivor's that actually looks better with makeup.
- Next week is a recap episode. I'll watch the Ponderosa videos at cbs.com to get my fix.Comment

You sure its a recap? The guide says its new and doesnt make any mention of it being a recap but it wouldnt surprise me either if the guide was wrong or hasnt gotten the information as of yet.
Last nights episode was awesome, people at work were trying to speculate that with the way they were talking that they were going to try and turn on Russell, and while thats plausible as they can only let him hang around for so long, I assumed they were talking about John since he turned on his old tribe and now they would want his head as well.Comment

The next episode is called The First 27 days. It's a recap episode.
At some point, Russell's alliance will have to turn on him. I'm guessing Russell will have the option to play the HII up until it gets to the final 5. Assuming Dave, Monica, and Brent are the next 3 to go, the remaining players should just let Russell continue until he no longer has the power of the HII. If the group is smart, they would realize that none of the them has a shot in beating Russell in front of the jury. Unless Russell wins the IC, they should be able to get rid of him.
This is what makes it so interesting. Russell has proven to be far and away the best player this season and this makes it tougher for him to make it all the way to the end. Nobody left on the Island would want to go up against him in the final TC.Comment

I very rarely watch the reunion show but this season I am planning on watching it if anything just for the Russell segments. He is by far my favorite Survivor contestant eva'.Comment

This was a "recap" episode worth watching. It was mostly scenes not shown before that helped fill in or give a more complete story of the first 27 days.Comment

- Ho Hum just another episode of Russell playing the role of God. The look on John and Shambo's face was priceless. I'm running out of things to say about Russell. Watching Russell vs. the rest of the cast is like watching the Colts vs. a HS football team.
- Unless I missed something the logs in the IC were the same weight which would give a huge advantage to the males. Natalie surprised me when she lasted until the final 3.
- DO NOT WANT of the season: Shambo getting rid of her t-shirt and displaying her "goods".
- The previews make next week look really interesting although I don't see Russell getting booted. If his alliance turned on him, Shambo would just flip back to her old tribe and they would have the numbers (Shambo's biggest enemy, Laura, is already gone).Comment

I thought Jeff said the logs were equal to each Survivor's weight?
Possibly the first bad move by Russell - voting off John. If he stayed with Mick, he would've kept Shambo in his back pocket.
And the reason he voted John, becasue he knows about the idol, didn't make sense. By now everyone must assume Russell has the idol.Comment

The thing I didn't understand is why Russel didn't at least tell Shambo about his plans to vote out Jon. Instead the completely leave her out and now she's going to feel like she's on the out skits of Russel's alliance.
He's going to have to do major damage control to keep her from flipping because that's exactly what her original tribe did to her to cause her to flip. I think it's 60/40 to her flipping.My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

That's the part I must of missed about the IC. If wouldn't be fair if all the logs were the same weight.
Voting out John is the right move. If he voted out Mick, there's a really good chance Jaison wouldn't trust him. At this point of the game, Russell would have been foolish to vote out someone that truly has his back. John pretty much knew Russell had the Idol so it was a perfect time to get him out of the game. Russell's strategy has been virtually flawless. He's reached the point of Survivor perfection in terms of paving his way to winning this season. He has the numbers to get get rid of Dave, Brent, and Monica all in a row. It would be down to a Final 5. At this point I'm sure Jaison and Mick think it will be time to get rid of Russell. What they don't know is that Russell already has final agreements with Natalie and Shambo (both ladies don't know Russell has the same agreement with another person). Russell would just get Natalie and Shambo to vote with him to oust Jaison and Mick. Outside of having a final agreement, Russell will just point out how both of those guys are physical threats and have already won an individual IC. And to top it off, neither Natalie or Shambo could bash him in front of the jury because Russell basically kept his word and brought both to the final TC. Russell also hasn't made the game personal. He keeps all his snarky comments to the confessionals. If you watch the Ponderosa videos over at CBS.com the jury members have basically declared Russell a snake and a very good player.
