I believe most of the jury would vote for Russell unless it's against Brett. I think most of them would rather give it to the puppet master rather than giving it to someone who been basically riding coat tails.
I mean honestly, what would Jaison, Mick or Natalie have to say to the jury to convince them they played a better game than Russell?

We all saw Natalie making nicenice with Brett this week. If he were voted out, I would bet he would make the case to his fellow jurors that she deserves the money, simply because he likes her more than the rest of them.

She's got more crossover appeal to the Galu's than the guy who single-handedly took out their whole tribe. They hate Russell from what I can see, I don't think they have an opinion about Natalie.

- It's very weird to see Brett on TV. It's like he just entered the game 2 weeks ago. Up until that point, I think he had less than 3 mins of confessional time.

- The religion thing between Brett and Natalie was really random. It's like the producers decided to play that up just to make the viewers believe Natalie might flip on her alliance.

- I think Russell made the right move in getting rid of Shambo. Mick doesn't pose a threat in the final 3 while Shambo is worthless in the challenges. If I'm in Russell's position, the biggest threat is Brett running the table in the IC's.

- I'm hyped up for Sunday. It's been a long time since I've been this excitied for the season finale. There hasn't been one bad/boring episode this season. Russell from Day 1 has been the best player and it's going to be a shame if he only gets the $100,000 fan vote instead of the million dollars. I think him not playing the HII might have ticked off the jury because of what he said but I thought it was hilarious. He's played a unique game but he has the swagger of a Boston Rob.

- I'll go on record and say Natalie is going to look a lot worse with all the Hollywood makeup in the reunion show.

I dont buy the idea that people wont vote for Russell because they dont like him. There have been plenty of villans and some have won the entire thing and I wouldnt classify Russell as being a villan, more like the only intelligent player out there. It would be a real shame if he didnt win it as he has pretty much dominated every single aspect of Survivor since the show started.

Off the top of my head. the only person to lose in the final 2/3 to a lesser player because of a bitter jury was Boston Rob in All-Stars. But even in that season Boston Rob wasn't head and shoulders above Amber in gameplay like what Russell is to the rest of the cast.

Boston Rob's fatal flaw was showing remorse (and crying) at the Final Tribal Council (something which also submarined Amanda twice, BTW). If he'd resisted Lex and company's attempts to make him feel guilty and stuck by his guns ("It's a game, and I played it better than anyone else. The End."), I think he would've won.

Russell ain't crying on Sunday.

I remember reading an interview after that season and he said it was a part of his strategy to appear remorseful during the final TC.

That was one of the most brutal final TC's in Survior history. Lex got on his high horse to basically say how Boston Rob picked money over friendship. And than the idiot Big Tom did his famous fake handshake with the words "Don't be stupid, stupid". Oh yeah Kathy went on a rant about how she thought Rob was like a son to her and he stabbed her in the back.

When the jury is bitter is puts certain players in a real tight spot. If you don't suck up/show remorse, you run the risk of losing votes. At the same time some people might respect you more if you're honest and don't suck up to the jury.

I hope Russell doesn't kiss any *** and tells the whole jury he played a major part in kicking everybody out and has no regrets.

Season Finale is about to start........ here's my final prediction of what's going to go down

Natalie wins the next IC and Brett gets the boot.
Russell wins the final IC and Mick gets voted out

Final is Russell, Jaison, and Natalie.

Russell wins the jury vote 7-0

I'm so pumped up about the final 2 hrs and the reunion show. I'm hoping they reveal the cast list for all-stars at the end of the reunion show.

Edit: I'm going to DVR it and watch it in progess so I can skip all the commericials. I'll be back later with my thoughts.

Yeah, Ive pretty much come to the conclusion that Russell isnt going to be winning tonight. I really wanted to believe that he would but I get the feeling that even if he made it to the final, the ousted people would hold grudges and stick it to him. Obviously this hasnt even started here yet and wont for another 45 minutes but I have zero faith in Russell winning the entire thing.

I didnt necessarily have a problem with Natalie but there is no way anyone deserved it over Russell, period. When they merged and had an extreme disadvantage, he was the one that schemed and came up with the plans. If he wasnt there I guarantee that Jaison, Mick, Shambo and Natalie would have been gone as none of them would have been able to formulate anything on their own.

exactly, Russel was the only reason any of them survived...the vote was an example of chicken **** grudges. There is no way anyone can say that Natalie deserved to win. She would not have even been there if not for Russel
