Hatch was released from prison in October. The producers wanted him to appear next season but Hatch wasn't allowed to leave the US.

Nope, it was one large piece for him or a whole pie split into four for him to give away.

If I were him I would have took the four pieces and given them to Nat, Mick, Jaison and either Russel or Shambo. If he would have done that he may have bought himself another week or two.

Not giving up a piece of pie had nothing to do with John being voted out. He was voted out because Russell thought John knew he had the HII and was a threat to him.

Nobody in the history of Survivor has been voted out for not giving up a piece of food in a reward challenge. If I was in John's shoes, I would have kept the pie. I would have been starving at the time and everybody else started with $500 to buy their own food/drinks.

A) If I were John, i'd have given part of the pie to Natalie, but only if she grabs her slice in the next 10 seconds. She was in the shower, you see, so she'd have to come running out........ I'm a horrible person.

B) I didn't remember Brett was even on the show until I saw him writing down his vote at the end. I don't even remember him being a part of the challenges. If he by some miracle makes it to the end and I was on the jury i'd look at him and say something like "You did nothing in this game to warrant my vote. Actually, you did nothing in this game, period." At some point you have to make some kind of move so the jury knows you're playing the game and deserve the money. Not just sit there silently and hope to avoid the wrath of King Russell.

C) I've only been watching for 3 seasons now, but Russell is the most brilliant player i've seen yet. I remember in the first episode he said something about how he was going to win the game just to prove how easy it was to do it, and now as we come down the stretch he damn well better win. Dude deserves it. I hope he gives the money to someone else to redeem himself at the end. Lol. Dude's an oil man, he's got enough already.

Great move by Russell, showing the idol. I thought he might have been in trouble though when he didn't play it. I wonder if it changed any votes?
It will be interesting to see how the Foa Foa split up.

Russell seemed a little reckless last night and it was the first time we started to see him get a little panicked about things. Im kinda indifferent about showing the idol as everyone knew he had it anyways but he had better watch his back from here on out as it looks like Mick has zero faith that he would take him to the finals. My biggest headscratcher is the idea that he would rather take Shambo over Mick, that makes no sense at all. If he takes Mick he can make the argument, and its pretty damn valid in all honesty, that Mick basically rode the Russell train to get where he has gotten. If he takes Shambo he runs the risk of everyone giving her a vote based solely on the fact that she has somehow survived when so many wanted to vote her off. Personally I take Jaison and Mick and throw them both under the bus for riding me to the finals, imo, if it came down to those three then Russell will win in a landslide.

I don't blame Monica for what she did last night but when she mentioned she controlled Russell's fate with the jury, I was nodding in agreement when Russell said that wasn't going to happen.

Off the top of my head. the only person to lose in the final 2/3 to a lesser player because of a bitter jury was Boston Rob in All-Stars. But even in that season Boston Rob wasn't head and shoulders above Amber in gameplay like what Russell is to the rest of the cast.

Despite what the previews showed, I don't believe Russell is in any danger. Mick and Jaison aren't going to rock the boat in the next vote because they don't have to. Why would you shake things up when you have a clear path to the final 5? Once it get down to the final 5, I'm sure both of those guys will think about bringing in Natalie to take out Shambo and Russell but they don't know Natalie has a final 2 agreement with Russell. Russell has his tracks covered. I look forward to seeing him winning on Dec 19th. I will also vote for him to get the fan favorite $10,000 bonus.

The only thing that will lose Russell jury votes is the money thing. He should never have told anyone about his income.

Brett needs to be the next to go, there's no doubt he has the votes in the jury. They all wave and wink to him everytime they see them. It's still amazing that Foa Foa and has taken down almost all the Galu now.

Another great episode tonight. Russell saying that was he going to keep the immunity idol as a souvenir was fantastic.

If Brett or Russell make it to the final's, I seriously the person(s) their up against get's a single vote. But, I guess they have to get there first. The finale should be interesting.

He's easily played the best game, quite frankly he might be the only one who's actually played the game, but the jury is going to hate him for taking out their entire tribe. Angry jury = low votes. He deserves it, for sure, I just think the jury is going to be too bitter to vote for him.

The only one who has a chance against Russell is Brett. He is the only one that could make a good argument that he deserves to be there - winning immunity 4 in a row to survive Foa Foa's numbers late in the game. The others just rode Russell's coattails.

Good point. I was assuming Russell gets there, but no more idol and he has not been winning challenges.

I believe most of the jury would vote for Russell unless it's against Brett. I think most of them would rather give it to the puppet master rather than giving it to someone who been basically riding coat tails.
I mean honestly, what would Jaison, Mick or Natalie have to say to the jury to convince them they played a better game than Russell?
