Re: Flash Forward -- Season 1

True, but just because they show the scenes in that order doesn't mean only five minutes had passed.

She showed up there around 3:30. She could have been broken out hours ago.Comment

Re: Flash Forward -- Season 1

This show does a decent job of it. Prison Break was the king of ignoring time limitations. That show had people making cross country trips in minutes.

Whenever there was a moment that someone was inches from getting caught, they were magically a mile away from the hunter.

I'll take some of Flash Forward's time lapses and ignore them if they at least stick with some sense of reality."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

 Re: Flash Forward

Well, in the show when it first shows Frost's wall, the date is actually 12.21.2012 not 2016 as Mark remembers it.

 Re: Flash Forward

Yes, I can get behind the double(triple?) agent role of Janis. Before the mole reveal, every scene that she was in, especially when she was totally alone, painted her as completely one of the good guys. It was inconceivable that she was really a villain.

As was mentioned above me, Vogel as the true snake in the grass, would make much more sense. We haven't seen anything yet on screen that gives away his true motivations or agenda.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

I Agree with all of you. Vogel seems to be questionable at this point. Things are shaping up. Any idea how many episodes are left?Check out my Tampa Bay Buccaneers CFM Thread.

I too have had a bad feeling about him from the first episode he appeared. Something just doesn't seem right about him.Comment

 Re: Flash Forward

Didn't they basically come out and say Vogel was a bad guy with his flash forward?

CIA characters are always tough to peg because Hollywood doesn't actually know what the CIA is. Nothing Vogel has done outside of the Somalia episode would be anything the CIA would be tasked with doing (especially infiltrating a domestic terrorist group). Now, this could be evidence that he's up to no good, but my guess is it's just ignorance.Comment

 Re: Flash Forward

Yeah, they did have him receive the call confirming that Mark was dead. The only ones who could have known that were the mercs that invaded his office during the flash forward. I'm guessing they called him at the end of the 2 minutes and that's why Mark's flash forward is shorter than everyone elses.Didn't they basically come out and say Vogel was a bad guy with his flash forward?
