Re: Flash Forward
I really tried to like this show, and I liked the book, but I find it hard to keep myself interested (and it's not because of the book because it seems they've gone in a completely different direction).
The premise I like, the overall arc (who's doing this and why) I like, but I find it hard to care, at all, about any of these people or their problems and that seems to comprise 90% of the show. At the end of this latest episode all I could think is that I hope she dies so we don't have to hear about the damn sonogram anymore.
It doesn't help things when they have characters with no integrity. Blackmailing the president who also happens to be your friend? What a slimeball. Sputtering in front of congress? Grow some damn balls and just tell the truth.Comment

Re: Flash Forward
Man, it's a great thing this show has a fantastic story and writing. Because if it had to depend on the acting, it would have been cancelled by the first commercial break.
There isn't one actor in this show that I like. All of them 'over' act and the lead character is the worst.
Hey jackass, try moving your mouth when you speak!
But I love the story and it's right up there with 'Lost' for me (which also has bad actors).Comment

Re: Flash Forward
Who in the world decided they should have music during the gun battle last night? It was a serious scene yet the music didn't reflect it.
I also didn't understand why they did the whole we will show you near the end of the episode first and than show you how we got there in the first place.
I'm still enjoying the show because of the premise but there's something that's not clicking. I can't describe it.Comment

Penny is still Penny.
Charlie will still be Charlie.
They should have made Screech the main character.
I like the story, but the cast is rock bottom. Seriously they need subtitles for the AA sponsor. He sounds like the Janitor from the Simpson with a little more Scotch in his belly.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

Re: Flash Forward
1. Fiennes is a bad actor
2. Fiennes is trying so hard to maintain an American accent that it's affecting his performance; either make the character British or hire an American actor for the lead!
I'm hoping that this is just a rough stretch, and that the writers recognize their mistakes (don't show the same flashforwards every episode, in fact QUIT saying "flashforward" 50 times per show) when it comes to the second half of the season. I want this show to succeed, because the premise is fantastic. But it's got a lot of room for improvement.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. Re: Flash Forward
Speaking of 24, anyone else notice that the guy who introthe presduced ident at the press conference was one of the president's aids on the last season of 24? Kind of funny he's playing the same role in 2 shows.
I also agree with asianflow on the music in the shootout scene. Did not fit the scene at all.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

I think he's just horribly miscast. I think if his name wasn't Fiennes he wouldn't be in the show.Comment

Re: Flash Forward
Best episode since the pilot. With Agent Gough killing himself, his vision is a lot more interesting because I want to see how it plays out.
I also liked the twist at the end with the guy's daughter showing up at his house.
John Cho and Gabrielle Union are both almost 40 in real life but they could still pass as college students with how young they look.Comment
