Personally I think is harder to replicate the success of something that is already great than make something dull or boring a great success.

The movie was good, but not great. Waaaaay overhyped.

Entertaining movie for what it was. Could have done without most of the crap Bay adds to it for no reason, but the actions scenes were good and there were some great effects.

Visually it was insane--otherwise it was pretty stupid.

I liked it, though. I enjoyed it more than I expected to.

Just re-watched it again tonight in 3D, which was a visceral plus for the film. Despite its flaws, I can't stress enough how much of an improvement this was over ROTF.

I was wondering why that one decepticon was flipping cars over for no reason.

Maybe it had to do with that news about the woman who was injured during a stunt scene and had to undergo brain surgery. I'm sure Bay had to perhaps scrap some takes and use stock footage.

Besides, it's his own movie, so I don't see it as that big of a deal. At least it's not like ROTF where he used a shot of a drone that was also in TF1, where it would be much more obvious for someone who had seen both films within the same series.

Hell, even Sam's parents kind of fit into this category in this film.
i like Sams parents and i wish they would have got more time on screen. his mom is hilarious.

Is it worth seeing in 3D as opposed to the 'normal' version?
