I love, love, love this thing! No complaints whatsoever. It has definitely taken over the ranks from the EVO 4G as my all-time favorite device. And that's basically as a stock/non-rooted) device. It has a lot of cool features, and the stock camera/video capabilities are amazing. I was worried about the battery, but after a week and a half, I have no worries at all, as it is great!

I received a free gel case from Sprint as an apology for the week delay, but it was bright blue with a red 'htc' on it, lol. I went with the black Case°Mate (Tough Case version), after considering the Otterbox commuter series. Nice thing is, even with the case it about the thickness of the EVO 4G. Naked, it is impressively thin!

I'm still 3G right now, but I am in Houston, which is a 4G LTE launch city. We're pretty much waiting on Sprint to flip the switch. There are a few locations around the city where you can actually connect, but it seems to boot you off after a couple of days. *shrug*

Don't quote me on this, but I think the initial cities are Atlanta, Houston, San Antonio, Dallas (I guess they like TX, lol) and Stockton, CA - for launch. And NYC, Chicago, Nashville, Fort Worth (which is Dallas?) and Akron, OH being part of phase 1. Not what exactly the difference between launch and phase 1 is either, sounds redundant.
I think the 4G LTE delay is somehow tied to Sprint's migration of customers from their iDEN network to their 3G CDMA network.

One bad thing if any, in all of this is, the EVO LTE does not allow you to connect to 4G WiMax. So if you have spotty 3G service, you'll probably be unhappy. LOL, talk about missing features! Meaning these 'LTE' phones technically aren't LTE capable right now... Fortunately, my 3G signal is good here in Houston. Despite that, this thing is badass!

The SII is still one of the number one selling phones and I think It will continue.

Quick question is anyone know, When sprint switches fully over to there 4G LTE, what then does the regular 4G phones then run on?

The 4S you have wasn't much different than the 4.

Software...I still have my OG Evo. I'm not a fan of HTC Sense. SIII has a better camera...and removable battery. HTC has screwed up multitasking in Sense 4. It now reloads your apps when you try to go back into them. All the hardware and software upgrades that Samsung has added over the SII has me onboard with the SIII. I'm just not feeling the Evo LTE. The Evo was a gamechanger, two years ago. I just feel like Samsung's Galaxy line is better.

I'll take that back, apple gave the 4S a hardware upgrade + Siri. Samsung has upgraded the hardware and gave the software a big boost.

With the S III coming out so soon and my upgrade coming 6-10 i might have to just forget bout the iPhone 5 and go with the S III to replace my original EVO.
