I am picking up my EVO today. Coming from the blackberry, so it is a different game now.

It looks like I can get the SNES emulator. And there are good games like the new baseball and boxing one that came out. Any good multiplayer online ones I should check out too?

Man I can not WAIT. Honestly. It is like I have a super toy or something and I am in my early 30s..lol.

Just to be able to play EMUd games is sick enough. Then I see they are coming out with MP racing games and stuff like that. I am real interested in seeing what MP games that are out. Hell, I'd love to just play pong against somebody.

Plus, netflix will stream to this phone. So when it goes 4g in my area, it will fly. My final excitiment is just that I can finally browse the web far better. Sites like even this one are a nightmare on the BBerry.

The option to talk with someone on skype using front facing video is also pretty damn rad.

Even on 3G Netflix should be fine. It looks really nice on the iPad via 3G.

Video calling is very, very cool. Only downside is there aren't more apps that use it. I'd like to be able to Gchat with any phone camera.

Did ya get it yet ????? Nothing wrong with loving tech stuff. I am in my early 30s and I still get giddy when I buy something new that is tech related.

I bought the new xbox 360 slim yesterday and I held that thing like it had nuke launch codes in it. My wife was like damn you got a death grip on that box LOL. I am going to end up getting the evo 4g. I am a sucker for big screens.

I got it. It's an amazing phone. Simply unreal what I can do with it. Swype is a complete game changer. It makes using a touch phone the best choice. Before Swype, I was a little iffy on texting and was cheating a lot using voice to text (which is incredible).
If you hold down the search button you can say whatever you want and it will find it. So if you need to find a restaurant, you can just say its name and the GPs comes up and gides you to it. It's awesome.

I was riding with my GF last night and asked her what she wanted to watch on youtube. She was just saying random stuff into the mic and we were finding vids for it that streamed super fast.

well if this thread is for the android market, then my bad... but again, looking at the thread title I assumed it was for the phone (official Droid discussion) and not the android market as a whole, which are two totally different things

if its for all things android, then maybe the title should be changed to avoid confusion
