Another useful app - IMDB

I love it, tells you about movies, showtimes, future releases, what is coming out on dvd & blu-ray. Also does tv shows too and allows you to watch preview clip of movies.

I find it a must have in you traveling this summer and want to catch a movie. Just enter a zip code and it will tell you all the movie theatres in that zip code. Best of all, the app is free.

Anyone thinking of getting one of the galaxy s phones? I'm pretty sure i'm about to preorder the vibrant from radio shack. They are throwing in a $50 gift card with the preorder. $30 extra/month is a little steep for internet though.

Well, I am going to attempt to order the Droid X tonight at Midnight from Verizon's web site. I have never tried to get a phone that will be in high demand right as it came out online. I really hope I can get it, but something tells me I will get a sold out notification.

Is anyone also going to attempt this? I have been trying to get the Incredible for about a month now. So if this attempt proves futile, I am just keeping my phone and saying screw it for now.

The Droid X looks SICK! Damn T-Mobile for not getting a top android handset. I had to go the unlocked route to get a worthwile phone.

Anybody own the Motorola I1? I'm thinking of upgrading my phone & the I1 is the only phone I can get that offers ANDROID.

Yeah, that may be fine. It's just a shame that T-Mobile was the first to adopt android, but they've been having the weakest phones.

you clearly haven't seen at&t's android "offerings"

also, just a heads up to those of you drooling over the Droid X. Motorola has made it pretty much unrootable with their locked bootloader so who knows when/if it'll ever be rooted.

Just got a raincheck at best buy for the Evo. From what I was told, the raincheck basically orders the out of stock Evo and they will email/call me when it comes in. Still kinda sad/hesitant to leave my beloved Blackberry.

This location had just got in the Samsung Captivate that they'll start selling Sunday. It is nice!

As I said in another thread I couldn't trade in my MyTouch Slide (value $355) toward a Vibrant purchase because my dumba$$ threw the box away. Just as well, because they came in at $500 off contract, a little higher than I wanted to go.
