That keyboard looks very solid... I've been having problems with my keyboard since I've last updated my phone. New to the Android scene so I'm still not sure where to begin really with personalizing all aspects of my phone, but I just got a new HTC EVO 4g from Sprint (Asurion, rather) since I cracked my phone between my passenger seat motors. Clean slate, not sure where to begin again. Want to do it better than my last time though... hmm

I used the previous version for months and it did pretty well. I also got X yesterday when it was free, but was going to buy it at some point anyways.Comment

I got Swiftkey yesterday too. It does some weird things that I'm not used to. With stock you can double tap the space bar to put a period and continue with your next sentence. Swiftkey puts predicted words sometimes instead and it's annoying. I'm hoping that it learns that I want a period not some random word.
I also wish that it in the smiley shortcut window it would show the pic of the android smiley face instead of the keystrokes used to make it.Oakland Athletics San Jose Sharks

It looks like a wider Motorola Droid.......You heard it from me 1st, that is going to be the new number one most stolen pre paid phone out of Best Buy and maybe Walmart, since not all Walmarts carry Virgin Mobile phones anymore, the cards yeah but not the phones.Last edited by Gotmadskillzson; 07-22-2011, 08:54 PM.Comment

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
Anyone here have the Evo 3D? I really need a new phone, and I'm thinking about getting it tomorrow. Is it pretty solid, or would I be better off just getting the first Evo?Fan of....

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread
After about six months of my rooted EVO 4G I've decided to unroot it and grab the Gingerbread update.
I was having way too many connectivity issues that required a reboot (mostly Exchange and GMail) and my friends were telling me that my texting was mess - duplicates and stuff appearing way out of order on their end from me.
So I unrooted my phone, did a hard reset, updated to Gingerbread and now I can't get ActiveSync or Gmail to recongize my username/password. Everything else on the phone works (3G, phone calls, wifi, etc) but I cannot get either mail account to load. I know I'm entering the correct credentials, I only tried about 25 times.
Poked around on the web and I've seen plenty of other cases like this but none of the solutions helped me. Anyone have any ideas?"You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

I had evo 4g, sold for $250 on eBay and bought the 3d.
Newest sense version, faster (dual core processor), more internal memory for apps. The 3d aspect is neat and fun to show off, it's neat but messes with some peoples eyes.
I have my 3d partially rooted already from xda instructions, best rooting forum.
