problem is Gotmad is unless you live in Burlington, Vermont is mostly sticks and Mountains. Not high in the Cell phone coverage area there.

AT&T and US Cellular pretty much works throughout the state of Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. Verizon and Sprint just haven't invested in a lot of towers in New England like AT&T and US Cellular has.

Seems like every month I am seeing a new AT&T cell tower going up some where. More customers for them I guess, because currently they making a killing up here.

Yeah, for as much as AT&T gets knocked about their network they have New England on lock. I was with Sprint for eight years, you just get used to how bad the coverage is and think it's normal. Two-plus days with AT&T (and I did a decent amount of travelling through CT this weekend) and I had at least two bars everywhere I went.

Verizon is fine in CT though, especially since I'm close to NYC. Don't know about the northern part of the state but I've never heard complaints from friends and business associates that live up there.

Mine too, but I'm also in CA. That's the first thing people need to check out when looking for phones is if the carrier has a good signal where they spend most of their time. Best phone in the world isn't going to make crappy coverage good.

Guys, I've noticed lately with my Cliq 2 that text messages are going out slower than usual and sometimes my messages are not sending at all. I have had numerous conversations just end recently because I was waiting for the person to reply, but they never got my messages. So I have turned on delivery reports and it seems like 1 of every 20 messages at the very least is not sending.

Also, I was getting messages 3 times instead of just once and my phone would freak out and resend messages. Ever since deleting Handcent my problems have drastically decreased, but I am still seeing the issue with some texts never being sent, they just stay in the pending stage and then randomly send after a day or so.

It has only happened recently and is really frustrating. I liked Handcent, but it had way too many problems and the stock messaging is boring and I'd like to have something like Handcent that didn't come with so many problems.

Received the Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread update on my ATT HTC Inspire 4g phone today, a few notable cosmetic changes but I guess its mostly a "under the hood" update.

Hoping someone can help. I have a droid x 2 and when I get a picture message it will show up as an old one. So if I get a new one it will preview as an old one, no matter who the contact is. All the preview pictures will switch to this one in the preview. I click the image and it shows the actual picture. Sometimes it will switch to a different one for all the picture messages for no apparent reason. I tried looking in all the files and seeing if it was storing it somewhere but couldn't find the one it was showing anywhere. And no I'm not saving them or anything.

Anyone know how to fix it or experience this problem?

Finally my upgrade came up and I picked up the EVO 3D after 2 years with the Pre.

So far I'm impressed, just have to get used to the OS. A few times I tried to swipe back.
