GetJar.com is an app market that is trying to rival android and amazon. They have a Gold section of 20-30 apps that normally cost $ but are free on getjar. I haven't tried them all but a couple good ones immediately stand out including Swiftkey X for those that missed out on the amazon app of the day a couple months ago.
Anybody used/using MIUI rom? I just flashed it and man it is pretty. It does resemble the iOS though so we'll see if I like it the more I use it. But I've heard a lot of good things.

Sprint people, are you still on the old Marketplace? I know I can get the pack from the Internet to update but was hoping it would update automatically by now.
Just got my Droid Bionic today. I did want to wait for the ICS phones in November, but I really couldn't stay with my OG Droid anymore. After having constant performance issues with it the past 2 months, with apps constantly hanging and force closing, the Bionic feels lightning quick.
Thankfully I'm in a 4G area for most of the day so I was able to test that out and it was very quick, pretty much the same speed as being on a good wifi network. I have seen people complain about the qHD screen on both this and the X2, but I don't really have a problem with it.
Only downside so far is the Verizon and Motorola crapware all over the phone. Thankfully my LauncherPro transferred over immediately so I didn't have to deal with MotoBlur.
Really liking it so far though.

Root it, get rid of the Verizon Bloatware.

How is the battery life Sandman? Its a big thing for me to have good battery at least last through the whole day without charging till the end of the day as to why I haven't gone with any of the 4g phones yet.

Spending about an hour making phone calls, using GPS for 30 minutes, and some twitter/web surfing on both 4G and 3G and my phone is at 15% battery right now. Didn't charge it at all throughout the day, so it seems fine to me right now.
Haven't had a chance to see how much some more heavy usage of 4G or GPS will kill the battery though as this was my first day of using it on a full charge.
Also I did begin to notice the complaints about the screen, but only when I'm using Twidroyd. Any other time using the phone I don't notice the grid-y look. Maybe I should just try another twitter app and see if the same happens.
I bought the Samsung Galaxy S2 on Friday. Best phone I have ever owned. I can't believe how light it is. The screen is out of this world. It has absolutely no lag ever.

Up until the past couple days, I for sure was going iPhone 5 but I think i'm going back with Android. I have an upgrade now. I've been thinking about the SGS2 on Sprint but I'm still leery of Samsung's update practices. That and I love HTC's phones. Reason i'm passing on iPhone is because it won't have 4G. If I didn't have it in my area, it wouldn't matter but since I do, I do like the option whether I use it alot or not. I'm also rooted and like flashing different roms and being able to get any app I want for free99 if I want. The SGS2 is a sexy phone but I think i'm going to wait for the new ICS phones this fall before giving up my Evo.
