Because this is an Android phone. You are able to customize and do whatever you want to your phone. If I wanted to be stuck with stock, I would buy an I-product. I have a Droid 4 and I hate the fact that you can't remove the battery.

By the way you ain't getting a couple days out of any smartphone nowadays bro.The EVO has a 2000 mAh battery, not a 1800. I read all over the place that non-removable is an issue but why? How many people go out and buy back up batteries and an external charger? When I'm getting a couple days out of this battery I don't see an issue.

 Re: Official Android Discussion Thread

You, the owner, is allowed to customize Android phones from a software viewpoint. No matter what phone you purchase you're still stuck with stock radios, camera, screen, buttons, etc. Android being available to so many manufactures is what gives us options in hardware and choices.

By no means am I knocking anyone's choice to buy a S3, I've already said it's top of the line, but personally I understand why a non-removable battery is such a big negative. I'd take a non-removable battery for a better screen and radios any day. But that's the choice I make for my lifestyle.

Depending on use you're right on that one, full 48 hours no way. The battery life on the EVO LTE is so much better then the original. I can put a full days use on it, forget to put it on the charger at night, and wake up to a 30% charge which is good for a few more hours. I can live with that.Oakland Athletics San Jose Sharks

I can definitely vouch for this. This is, by far, the best performance I've had on my many Android devices.Depending on use you're right on that one, full 48 hours no way. Still holding out hope that the Galaxy Note or Note 2 (when it drops) makes it to Sprint. My man just copped the LTEvo, though, and he loves it.Comment

So, yeah, Asus Nexus 7. Jelly Bean. Chrome.

 I'm excited.

I think I may get the $249 16GBer....I don't know why they didn't include a SD slot though. Comment

If they would've included an SD card slot...I would've been verrrrry interested.

If Google can flesh Android out a bit better on the tablet side, I can see myself considering this device (or a later model) to replace my iPad2. I enjoy Android on my phone with all my widgets and how not EVERY app needs to be on my home screen. That fact alone is starting to drive me nuts on my iPad.XBox Gamertag: djbeth77

I put in my pre-order, between cloud services and the fact that anything 4.0+ supports USB hosting, I don't see an issue having only 16gbComment
