Pulled the trigger on the Note 2 on Saturday to replace my old phone, which was way overdue:




On a more serious note....what forums of Galaxy geeks would you guys suggest a noob like me to check out so I can wrap my head around this marvel of technology that is the Note 2? Thanks!

Despite the Note 2 being 199.99 with an upgrade this week I went with the S3.
Perfect for what I need and the 99.99 helped make the decision.
So far I'm really loving it.

So I finally got my Blaze in bad news is this phone is apparently not compatible with the routers here. So I can't receive text messages or calls. I know there's apps that will let me do this but is there one I can continue to use my regular number? I've looked and haven't had any luck yet.

We'll this phone sucks. Its got a better processor but it freezes a ton. I've researched and its a common complaint. Also the battery is pretty terrible. IM also not a fan of the capacitive buttons at the bottom. I routinely exit out of apps because I'll press it by mistake. I'll take regular buttons.

The Note II that I got a couple weeks ago? Yeah...this is my first smartphone and sadly, I've become addicted to the damn thing.

This from a guy who could live without a phone happily before, and would in fact have chucked it off a cliff were it not for my wife's eyebrow

I love checking the weather widget, looking for cool apps, bowling, Angry Birds, Words With Friends....heck I'm even on facebook now again because of this thing. I also like tapatalk to keep tabs on my subscribed topics here when I'm not near a PC.

Very cool....but digital crack.

My Note 2 should be here in a couple days, can't wait... I was originally gonna hold out for the Note 3 that I had seen mentioned, but I wasn't sure if a 6.3 inch screen would be overkill for me. I like a big phone as much as the next man, but I think the Note 2 will do just fine for me.

Another thing I like about the Note 2 is the size is just right (I'm a big guy though) and it fits in my pocket just great.

People said the same thing about the EVO 4G years ago. But alas the Note and Note 2 were big sellers.

Just got the note 2 (posting on it now) and this thing is absolutely amazing. Was worried about the size of it but honestly i dont think I could go back to a smaller phone at this point.
