I honestly think you'll be fine with 64gb. If Google photo didn't have free unlimited storage for pictures and videos I would say otherwise.

Checked out the Pixel 2 XL yesterday at a Verizon store. Can't wait to get this. Hopefully it ships early. It ships the 18th I hope I have it by the 20th. Date is 20-23rd

Any note 8 owners? I demoed it at best buy yesterday and I wss impressed. I'm curious to know how it stacks to the note 5 though in daily usage.

Just for my Pixel 2 XL. I am not having the screen issues some are. I do see a smidge of blue tint but it's from really weird viewing angles. Ways I would never view my phone.

Not grainy issues at all.

How the colors - they are definitely not as vibrate on things like icons etc. They don't pop but it doesn't bother me. Apparently can be fixed with a software update. We don't have the toggle sRGB option and it's on by default.

I have the Note 8 and love it, best phone I've owned. I also used to have the note 5 and this one just runs much better which is to be expected. Battery use is really good for me but I'm not on the phone all day doing things at work. Any thing in particular you're wanting to know?

I'm sure the Pixel is good, but just gonna wait and get both my wife and I the next Samsung phone. She needs the sd card slot anyways, and I'd like the wireless charging and some other features, so makes sense.

Just got my Pixel XL (1st Gen) 2 days ago. It's the 128GB version and I paid 300 bucks for it on OfferUp.

I'm soooo close to taking advantage of Google's $410 trade-in offer but I'm torn as to whether to get the 128GB Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL.

I'm really nervous about the screen issues that I've been hearing about with the 2 XL that aren't present with the 2. I could live without the larger screen and the top and bottom bezels don't bother me at all. I prefer the larger battery but with fast charging...does that difference matter that much...

Thoughts?

I say go Pixel XL 2. Although it seems hit or miss with the screen issues. They are replacing them if you have a problem. I honestly think you could go 64gb with the unlimited storage and save some money. With that said the 2 would be a great buy as well and save even more going that route. I personally have none of the issues others have had except for the smidge of blue tint at a weird angle. That I wouldn't even noticed it not pointed out by others before buying and I had to look for it.

I currently have the 64GB 8 Plus as well and I'm sure I'd be just fine with the 64GB Pixel. I save a good but of Apple music offline but I'll likely still be fine with 64GB.

Yeah I had 32 and was always around 55/60% used. With the unlimited Google storage for videos and pics I think you would be fine with 64. Just a thought.

I went ahead with the 2 XL. I agree that if there's a legit issue with my screen the one year warranty should cover that.

They extended it to two years. So we should be good if anything happens. Did you get Google's preferred care for accidental damage? I didn't go with it this time.
