I bought the first one because of all the hype and found it infinitely boring. It's got pretty graphics and people love it, so good for **** Games and Chair.

I didn't find it boring - but it was too repetitive to play over and over. You kill the same damn things wearing some different items over and over and over. It was an interesting idea, but after a few '20 years later' run throughs, it became pointless.

I can't even do that. I am pretty much game free on my ipad, but I use it as my laptop, movie watcher, small video editor, teleconference device, toy when bored..hell I have used my ipad every single day since I bought the first one a year ago.

In my opinion it is the greatest invention in the past 10 years.

I cant imagine flying ever again with out an iPad. Fo anyone that travels for work and spends alot of time in hotels and planes, it is a must.

At this point, I'd suggest you wait. If you really can't wait though, I think you'll be more than happy with the iPad 2.

I would wait, the iPad 3 will have a new retina screen with double the resolution.

the downside to waiting is how Apple products have amazing resale value. If you get an ipad 2 now, you can start buying apps and enjoying the device, and worry about the ipad 3 when it actually comes out.

People will easily be able to sell their ipad 2's towards an ipad 3 anyways. The first gen ipad still goes for over $300 used on ebay.

Took the plunge and bought my girl the iPad 2 for Christmas.

Yes I got her the most basic one! She has no need for huge amounts of space or 3G

Well guys I did it, I bought an Ipad and I could not be happier. I got this cool little Keyboard/ Carrying case so it typing on this bad boy is really easy.

Can you guys recommend any must have apps?

I just pulled the trigger on an iPad 2. Apple has the entry level models refurb'd for $419. Best deal i've seen.

What case do you guys recommend? I just want something slim and is able to prop it up.

I went with the Clear TPU smart cover compatible case on the back $5 eBay... And a Apple Smart Cover for the front.. I love the combo so far

Target has the Apple ipad2 with 16g for $499. You get a $40 Target gift card if you buy it and if you use your target credit card, you get 5% off that.

So basically, Net, you can get one for $435.

Looking for a case for this iPad 2 I got, I've been looking at the Otterbox. I know they make pretty sturdy cases for the iPhone and I want a good sturdy case for my new little piece of technology. Anyone got suggestions?
