Same here. I just called iPad telesales and right after I give them my credit card information, we get "disconnected" lol.

Tried ordering through the site and the iPhone app, but I keep getting errors.

I consider The New iPad a huge upgrade over the iPad 2. I'm pretty sure the graphics chip is on par with the Vita. I'm really impressed they were able to add all the new stuff to the iPad while maintaining the same battery life. The iPhoto app also looks really good.

I wonder why they decided to call it The New iPad instead of the iPad 3. What are they going to call the 2013 model or The New iPad when it drops in price next year?

There's no doubt in my mind The New iPad is going to be a huge success.

It's still just 'iPad.' That's something they do consistently - call the new model the same thing. Like Macbook, iMac, Mac Mini, Mac, etc.

Not sure why they don't do with the phone though. Never made sense to me as it doesn't fall inline with everything else.

16 gb wifi white on pre-order

sold 16 gb wifi 2 weeks ago for $450

wasn't 100% sure I was going to buy in again, but retina + iphoto works for me since I recently got into photography

easy $80 upgrade decision for me

This is interesting. Made it through the whole process but now I'm stuck at the processing screen. Been stuck there for over 30 minutes. I'm afraid to shut down that page. One thing is Apple has already taken the money from my account. So even if this doesnt go through, I better get my ipad on the 16th.

My first tablet. Pre-ordered a 16gb white wi-fi.

A friend of mine got the original iPhone and told me I had to get one. I said it was overkill. Finally broke down with the 3GS and haven't looked back. Same thing now with the iPad.

My first tablet as well.. 16 GB black. Wouldn't recommend white if you're planning on watching alot of video.. a white backdrop can give the appearance that the screen is dimmer than it actually is..

Is the 16GB model different from the others at all?

Curious because with the iTouch, the lower model is never really the new iTouch, but the older version with some of the upgrades.
