Been thinking bout getting one but I can't JUSTIFY why. I have a desktop , ps3, iphone... Etc.

My laptop just stopped working .

I had it in my pocket and when I got in the car it snapped and the screen shattered and I lost all touch functionality as well. Can't even wipe the damn thing to sell on ebay for parts.

Anyone know why a IPad won't charge? I only have one cord but it works for my IPhone and girlfriends IPad, so I don't have a clue. Kinda bumming me out.

Is it an apple cable? Connected to a wall? Both very big factors in how quickly it can charge. Either way if you've left it plugged in overnight with no success then it may be time to stop by an Apple store.

Hmmmm, some chargers may not give the power needed to charge that. If it's a older charger it may have been meant for a lesser powered device. Some of the iPads and other newer ones need a beefier charger.

Do you have the original charger to try and see if that works?

It's the same charger that came with the IPad. Either way, even though it said it was not charging, I left it plugged in last night and woke up to a fully charged IPad.

Interesting...I've seen the "not charging" when plugged into older PC's that can't push the power necessary...Same with some phone USB wall plug adapters.

Your issue sounds kind of weird. Might not hurt to take it to the Apple Store if it's somewhat current and see what they say.

Been a while since anyone posted here. Anyone have the ipad mini with retina? My current mini is terribly slow and I wanted to know a couple of things.

Do the pages automatically reload in safari when you leave a tab and come back due to memory issues? I purchased the Mini i have back in April and would have thought this to be fixed but it is not. Is this an issue on the new mini? I remember the ipad that was released around the same time as the mini not having these issues so it struck me curious the mini did.

So I'm thinking of jumping into the iPad pool....my question is, as a starter is there one that really stands above the others or are they all somewhat similar?

Found some cheap Gen 2's on Craiglist and was just curious outside of the retina display is there that big of a leap forward to the 3 or 4?

Thought about the Mini too but I kinda want something larger.
