He would be given a miracle on one hand but still face death and incarceration.
GUS is an amazing character. I cannot remember a character with so little lines and screen time that is so powerful.

It's like he's surreal, like the bartender in the Shining.

The show is still great...I somehow think though that it's best days are behind it. I say that because now we're twisting the characters and plots around to keep them on tv lol. The last season of Dexter proved me wrong though holy ****!

GUS is awesome. His scenes are powerful and as I stated previously my favorite scenes of this last episode.

Even if Walt died, so what? If his medical costs were going to be covered, his family wouldn't go bankrupt after he was gone. Skylar's sister/brother-in-law could've helped out, she could've gone back to work. Like what's happening now.

It's clear Walt thought his motivations were 100% pure, but they weren't.

Like Walt said, the money was for college tuition, for the mortgage, for food and supplies, and so on and so forth.

Without the money, and with Walt gone, Skylar would have had to go back to work full-time. Walt did not want his wife having to live that life. He tried to do everything in his power to make sure his family was secure in the event of his death.

Skylar cheated on him out of spite and for revenge. There was no righteousness in her intents.

So dealing crystal meth is preferable to having your wife work a full-time job? I do not find that righteous.

I'm not saying I agree with Walt's actions, I am just saying he did what he did in order to help his family. He didn't want to die, leaving his wife and children with nothing. He didn't want to leave them destitute.

Skylar, on the other hand, did what she did for the sole purpose to hurt Walt.

All I am saying is that, while Walt may have made some bad choices, his intentions were pure. You cannot say the same for Skylar.

Mostly pure-his refusal to accept money from his ex partners and his boast to Skylar about "earning that money" seems to put "pride" up there on Walt's priority list. Why not accept the money and cook?

Re: Breaking Bad Season 3- Debuts March 21st

Finally got around to watching this episode. Gus is awesome. The scene with the "boss", the twins, and Uncle Tio was great. I'm thinking that Gus will be taking action into his own hands rather than laying down to the cartel. Jessie is still in such a somber state, it was difficult watching him repeatedly call Jane's phone over and over again. I kept thinking that Jane's father would eventually be on the other line, but I am glad it just got disconnected, as that will truly help Jessie move on.

Skylar, Skylar, Skylar...what can I say? I don't understand the choice that she made in cheating on Walter. She did "break bad", but c'mon...doing so after Walt gave her the spiel about why he did what he did? The final scene was so tense and gut-wrenching. While I understand her frustrations, I whole heartedly disagree with her decision to cheat on Walt...but women are complicated.

Hank is freaking losing it. He has been struggling to deal with his haunting past in El Paso for quite some time now. He does a great job of putting on a "front", but after his partner discovered that he left his gun (and badge?) in the car while he went to confront the two guys in the bar, I think we may see some interesting dynamics come into play. I keep thinking the dude is going to have a heart attack or something...he is just breaking down inside.

The upcoming episode looks crazy. Can't wait.

                    Spoiler

                    Gus, "Animals"
Gus, "I don't believe fear to me an effective motivator"

I think those lines showed Gus to be a lot more human then cool and careful.

Great banter between Walt and Jesse-appears Gus has a plan for their reconciliation. Top notch episode.

Easily the best episode so far this season. I'm dying for next Sunday to be here already!

God this show is fantastic. The tension they build even when nothing violent or crazy is gonna happen is insane (like Mad Men).

really cool episode. Great shots and cool idea of using the ATM as a surveillance tool. That poor girl in the gas-station...I was worried he was going to slap her or something lol.

Do you guys honestly think the marriage is salvageable?? I sure don't, how can they be a couple after all this?

a BIG AWKWARD LOL AT Walt's "advances" in the office....holy ****.
