Another month and a half to go, such a long wait. We started going through season one on Blu-ray tonight, enjoying this even more the second time around since we first saw this on HBO last year.Comment

A couple of friends came over and we watched the first four episodes yesterday. One of them had read the first book, so we were talking about the differences. Honestly, I enjoyed it a lot more the second time through.
I am nearly done with the first book, though. Crazy **** has been going down. Sansa continues to make me rage, while Arya is a complete badass. Jon Snow is already a legend. Eddard just wasn't meant to be part of any type of government system. I'm really enjoying Robb's transformation. /book ramblings.

I have a feeling Sansa is going to play a major role in the The Winds of Winter.

SpoilerI believed from the start when Littlefinger got her to the Vale that he was planning the whole time to work Sansa onto the throne. Though i think his motivation is some sort of warped way of honoring Cat's memory after the Red WeddingHELLO BROOKYLN.

Tell me about it. I mean George makes her motivation pretty apparent, which is even more unnerving, but I just want to reach through the book and shake her. At this point she seems like her decision making is more along the lines of Lysa than Catelyn (though Catelyn has some WTF moments).
I watched episode 6 last night. The crowning scene was great. Clink. Haha. I wish they would develop the Dothraki more because they're basically just straight up barbarians in the show. Also, no Summer with Bran in the woods? Come on!
Still, the show is enjoying to watch. The costume designs are pretty much on point with the book and the show really does hinge on the performance of the actors.Last edited by Fresh Tendrils; 02-20-2012, 09:44 AM.
