    Re: HTC EVO 4G

I think one of the best ways to save battery is by cutting off Google Talk. One of the things I read while surfing a forum for the phone.

Google talk is a battery killer, I cut that off in my Droid too.

I bought a bigger batter for my Droid Incredible. Didn't have to replace the back cover either. Also check how often your programs are set to update. Like weather, facebook or any widgets.

I have figured out the battery issue and the battery life has improved tenfold!

However, now my phone keeps resetting itself all the time whether I'm talking on it or not. This just started happening yesterday morning and has happened about 20 times now. WTF!?

Sounds like something in your phone's cache is causing some issues.

It's happened another 10 times or so today as well. Totally unacceptable. I'm going to head up to the Sprint store tomorrow and see if they can get to the bottom of this.

Just get it replaced with a new one.. only thing is you might have to wait for it to be restocked...

                    are you rooted?

also, if you don't care about losing your apps and whatnot, i would suggest booting into recovery and doing a factory reset.

I took mine in a while back after I was having the reboot issues and they fixed it for me at the store. They said there was a faulty wire so they replaced it and the phone has now worked absolutely perfect for the past 6 weeks or so. Best investment ever.
