Listening to the album now... it's good stuff.

In particular, every song including and after "Not Afraid" on the record has been really good.

I cant stand "No Love" and "Space Bound". Those two songs have no place on an Eminem CD.

Lyrically this album is fantastic, but the hooks and beats are just, I don't know. I like darker beats I guess.

Re: Dear Eminem, Please oh please...

So as I was listening through the album for what seems like the 100th time, I went through my iTunes and assigned star ratings to each song. Here's what I had:

          5 stars:

          Cold Wind Blows
          Talkin' 2 Myself
          On Fire
          Going Through Changes
          Not Afraid
          No Love
          Space Bound
          Cinderella Man
          25 to Life
          Almost Famous
          Love the Way You Lie
          You're Never Over

          4 stars:

          Won't Back Down
          W.T.P.
          Seduction
          Here We Go

          3 Stars:

So Bad (more like 3.5 stars)

I freakin' love this album. Not a single skippable track for me. Super consistent. Some of the beats aren't great, some of the hooks are just meh, but Em's lyrics and flow so heavily outweighs those issues that they become non-issues for me. I'm going to be bumpin this album for a long, long time.

I don't think there's a bad song on the whole album, but I'd say W.T.P. is the weakest track. It's somewhat funny but I'm just not feeling it.

That's just about how I feel. Only song rating I didn't agree is So Bad. I'm a big fan of that song and would put it in the top tier for me, personally.

But yeah, some of the hooks are iffy (most have grown on me as I listen to the album more and more), and truthfully the lyrics are more important than the beats for me so I'm barely paying attention to any of the beats at the moment as I try and work on the lyrics.

Dang really? Those were a couple of my favorite songs (minus Lil Wayne). I feel like Space Bound has that Airplanes vibe and everybody's gonna be blowing up their facebook statuses with the hook once they hear it.

I actually had to go to the next track listening to the one with Lil Wayne. I don't listen to much rap so something has to have insane lyrics PLUS an awesome beat. Just couldn't get into those. Those two songs seemed very...."manufactured". Maybe I'll go back and listen to his verses on those.

I actually think, Wayne did his thing on that track. He rhymes slow but he still killed it.

I like the album as a whole, you can listen to the whole thing straight thru. but it doesn't touch his first 2 albums IMO.

Im a huge slim shady fan, also, he doesn't rhyme with his old style like he did a few times on relapse, especially the last track "Underground".

"Dre I'm down here under the ground digme up
Broken tibias, fibula's yeah fix me up
Sixty sluts, all of 'em dying from asphyxia
After they sip piss through a Christopher Reeves sippy cup
Dixie cups, toxins, boxes of Oxy pads
Enough oxycontin to send a ****in ox to rehab
Wack job in the back in a black stockin cap
Jackin off to a hockey mask at a boxing match"

That flow right there is what gets me hype man. Its a great album, but its not the old super fire i loved from Em.

i still give the album an 8/10 tho and he's still a beast

I'm not much of a Wayne fan (especially a lot of his new stuff) but I liked his verse on No Love.

I'm the same way. Hate Lil Wayne, but didn't really mind his verse on No Love.

Plus, by skipping it, you're missing what may be the best single verse on the entire album.
