    Re: True Blood Season 3

Yeah that is true (about Sookie). No way she would have just gone storming off into the jungle after that massive werewolf was spotted, she would have been running at light speed in the opposite direction irl. I find Lafayette to be hilarious at times (love how he calls Tara hooker) and while i don't really like Tara's character so far i do agree with Graphik that it puts the disjointed family aspect in the show. Hopefully now she can get over everything and stop being so annoying and they can use Sam's family for the family drama angle instead.

So can Sam turn into a bird like his brother (i can't remember if he did last series)? When that car nearly hit them his bro just turned into a bird and flew off while he turned into a human and fell into the mud on the side of the road.

I agree with Odogg that Jason will try to become a cop this season, his characted is awesome and always cracks me up.

Is it just me or do some of the cast look more doughy around the middle / less in shape this season? Sam looks kinda fat at times, Sookie doesn't quite look as hot and Jason who was ripped to shreds in the first series isn't so much anymore. Maybe i'm just noticing it more because i'm doing a hardcore diet / weight lifting program myself at the moment.....

Sam turned into an owl last season in order to get away from Mary Ann. He has also turned into a fly; however, he has stated that he's not very good at flying. I think his brother lured him into that road personally.

thanks for that. I vaguely remembered him flying but i watched all of season 1 and 2 in a group and my memory is terrible.

His bro is that kid of prison break isn't it?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that if Eric doesn't kill the werewolf (in Sookie's house) then he's in cahoots with them somehow. And just used the werewolf as a way of getting Sookie to invite him into her home.

I don't think Eric is though because he's in cahoots with the Queen, unless he's a double agent so to speak. Plus I don't think Eric would team up with the King of another area, Eric is pretty loyal when it comes to those kinds of things. Maybe I'm biased though because Eric has become my favorite character.

You're probably right. I just thought it was a little to coincidental when Sookie invited him in because the ww was in her house and just wanted it "on record" in case my wild guess is correct.

Anybody have a screen grab of the Stackhouse family tree that was in Bill's wardrobe?

2 things...sookie is not 100% normal human, she can hear thoughts and probably could tell he wasn't in the immediate area when she ran. She also cast away that witch chick last season with beaming light from her hand and the chick was like "what are you..."
but, to me, she's just too abrasive to have friends, and makes it's seem weird sometimes why people would like her.

2nd thing. I haven't noticed people going out of shape, but did notice Jason's buddy who loves the ginger vamp...he lost so much weight that it was probably borderline-something they contemplated writing in just to explain it.

                  2nd thing

Maybe Hoyt lost weight and shaved his hair for a movie or another role?

I like Sookie's personality to be honest. It doesn't bother me that she doesn't shy away from danger, but I don't get the feeling that she rushes into it for the hell of it. I mean, I think her motives are clear and appropriate.

I'm sure they slimmed him up because he is *sorta* a main character now and wanted him to have a little more appeal to the ladies if he was going to be dating (in my opinion) the hottest girl on the show.

Andy has lost a bunch of weight too. He used to be quite fat and now's he's pretty skinny. Kinda fits with his character going through so much guilt etc anyway.

I forgot about Sookie's "magic powers". I wonder how much they will expand on that this series (if at all).

That last scene was the most ****ed up scene the show has ever had. I'm really interested to see what Franklin is after, and I'm really, really interested to know why Bill essentially had a file of Sookie from since she was born.

So Bill can't go back to Louisiana anymore?
