    Could be.

I can't believe that there's only one episode left and yet there's still a lot of loose ends. Merle, the father and son most namely. I wonder if they'll make the finale. If not, I'm fine with it. Because no telling when or if they will make an appearance which I think is kind of cool.

Also, did anyone else notice the CDC Scientist was Jim Carey's best friend from The Truman Show?

^^That guy is in a billion different things. He's one of those "HEY IT'S THAT GUY AGAIN" actors. Hence by the way I can't remember his name. It took me like 20 years and 9,000 movies to learn Keith David's name too.

It seems pretty hard to believe Merle would even be alive. The blood loss would have killed him by now, although I'm sure they could write an explanation, like he found another group who had a doctor, or something.

They already explained it in the episode that they went to find him... he seared his own wrist to stop the bleeding.

Did they? I must have missed that part. I tend to switch back and forth between TWD and the encore of Boardwalk when they're on.

Even though Merle is a racist bastard, I must say he is a beast if there ever was one. He aint dead at all. He's somewhere making those walkers lives miserable gauranteed. Or should I say making their deaths miserable

So, what would be you're suggestions for surviving something like this? I'm thinking they need to get military minded most expediently. Loot Fort Benning for rifles and ammo, utilize the CDC for ya base of operations and start conducting patrols one shot one killin all walkers in sight.

Find the manuals for the tanks, armored up humvees and execute your mission period point blank.

I'm still trying to figure out how a heavily armed infantry unit could've been overrun by these things. You have maximum fire power, choppers, tanks vs human bodies that move slow as molasses. Now it would be a different story if these things were the fast movers similar to the Dawn remake, then you'd have problems.

They left a note on the red car explaining it was too dangerous there now.......Merle would see that.

I would think the same about the military.......but as we have seen in countless zombie films, conflict always gets the best of everyone. It makes you wonder how well the military handled the situation, let alone if there was any internal conflict that could have caused the soldiers to not pay attention and be bitten. Plus, we don't know how clueless the military was to this infection. I guess I keep going off what we have seen in other films where there are military that is clueless and ends up getting infected in the process. If there are 2-3 guys in a tank, 1 guy gets bit and doesn't know he will turn and just get back into the tank.....then whoever else is left in the tank will become fodder.

Last night's episode was good, albeit being a little bit on the slower side. It is just sad to see next week as being the season finale already. I could have dealt with 10-13 episodes, but 6 is not much. I just hope it doesn't take an entire year to come back.

That's because the only person we saw talk about it was Rick on the radio to the father and son. We have no idea if they all decided to leave the note for whomever walked by, and we found out about it by Rick telling the father/son over the radio, instead of seeing the camp debate it.

That's the only thing I can think of.

Which doesn't matter. It wasn't in code or anything....
I'm basically saying there is a note saying what the situation was. Didn't say they left it for him.

I think the note was for anyone that knew about the base camp. I'm sure it was intended for the father n son, but if Merle happens to come back, he'll know where they're at.

However I can see the writers going a different direction with Merle.. maybe have him be the bad guy that still hates the world n have him go on a rage n be the lone wolf. He can go look for more drugs, and along the way find other people like him that he's able to push around.

They may have to go back for Rick. The CDC man needs a 'live' sample of infected tissue...

What do you mean go back for Rick?

EDIT: Never mind, I know who you're talking about.
