I thought up until last week, the season was going pretty strong.

The past two episodes haven't really done it for me. I understand that they both pushed along the story, in order to get us to the big point of the finale (or at least that is what I am assuming), but I just wasn't a fan.

They were necessary to get us [Ted] to where we [he] need to be in the story of how Ted met their mother, but I was just never a fan of the Arcadian story or Zoey. Glad that's over.

I'm assuming this was Jennifer Morrison's last episode.

With the eye candy gone, I'm struggling to find a reason to keep watching. Sure as hell isn't the "humor."

I hope it was Zoey's last ep. She's ****ing annoying.

I still find the show funny and have really enjoyed this season aside from the Arcadian stuff being pretty boring. The Barney/Marshall father storylines have been damn good though.

When they said that was the mother I totally bought into it. Not a cool trick.

So we learned something about every character in that episode, except for the guy the show is based around.

Knowing the writers of this show it won't be revealed that Barney is marrying Robin until the end of next season (unless it gets renewed in which case we could wait longer).

Interesting last couple of minutes. I called the Lily pregnancy earlier today, so that was obvious....but didn't figure that Ted was the best man at Barney's wedding. That was a nice little swerve.

I had to check my guide 3 times. It said -in the season finale Ted is the best man at a wedding and learns a valuable lesson,Marshall is worried about food poisoning- (or something like that) and kept wondering where the wedding was.

They have been showing us that wedding scene with Marshall/Ted all season and I had just assumed it was Barney's...along with calling Lilly's pregnancy nothing in this episode got me. This season started so strong, but it has been so meh the rest of the way.
