I expect a lot of changes coming for next year, I think Armisen and Sudeikis are following Hader, but those are just rumors right now, wouldn't be surprised to see Kenan go either. Then Meyers is gone half way thru next year. Mulaney(the "I love it" guy) may be the next Weekend Update host.

Re: Saturday Night Live
I don't see it happening, he'd be going into his 8th season, the last time they gave the job to someone who had been on the show more than 3 seasons was Kevin Nealon who had been on the show 4 seasons.Native Georgian. Adopted Texan.Comment

Re: Saturday Night Live
I almost think Bobby Moynihan could be good as Update anchor, but then you lose two current WU go-to characters in Drunk Uncle and Anthony Crispino.
I'll officially predict Nasim Pedrad. She reads cards well, has decent/good delivery, and has been there long enough that they know what they're getting and not long enough to be kicked off yet. She was attached to John Mulaney's pilot and would've left SNL if it had been picked up, but it wasn't so here we are.
Could also go with what Blue said and see Mulaney do Update.Comment

Re: Saturday Night Live
Nice sendoff for Stefon (and Seth). The final goodbye sketch for Hader and Armisen was also nicely done.
No idea if Sudeikis is leaving too - he was rumored to be gone, was part of the final sketch, but then wasn't singled out like the other two at the goodnights. Maybe he hasn't decided yet?
As an episode I didn't think it was too great. Some laughs, but eh overall.Comment

Re: Saturday Night Live
Two small things:
We already knew, but Fred Armisen confirms he's done with SNL.
New York Magazine energizes people around shared interests, igniting important conversations on the news, politics, style, and culture that drive the world forward.
A cut sketch from the Justin Bieber episode. The sketch totally bombs (thus being cut), but what really makes this clip good is that it's followed by commentary from Bill Hader and two writers. I'd love to see this become a regular web thing they do.

Re: Saturday Night Live
^I actually thought the sketch was really funny, and the commentary after was great as well.

Re: Saturday Night Live
(Am I robbing others of the chance to post news? I feel like the jpdavis of the SNL thread.)
Girl at a Party is dead. Cecily Strong to co-anchor Weekend Update, then possibly transition to solo host when Seth leaves for his own show. Lorne Michaels hopes that, since he won't have a Friday show, Seth can continue to do Update.
More cast news - LA standup comedian Brooks Wheelan joins show. Tim Robinson moves from Featured Player to writing staff.

No robbing. I just don't follow the news. You're my news right now.
