It will definitely get a PG-13 rating. Can anyone remember a modern-day comics movie (I'm thinking from X-Men on, when the comic movie craze started) that wasn't?

Re: Superman Man Of Steel
Variety reports that Warner Bros. has lined up its licensing partners to promote and merchandise next year's "Man of Steel" movie.
Lego, Mattel and Rubie's Costume Co, Noble Collection, Kinetix, Junkfood, Bioworld, Converse and Hallmark will produce toys, costumes, apparel and party goods and ornaments for the Superman pic, that's helmed by Zack Snyder and flies into theaters next summer.
"With world-class licensees and retailers as our partners, we expand upon the Warner Bros. entertainment experience by creating merchandising programs that connect to consumers on a global scale," said Brad Globe, prexy of Warner Bros. Consumer Products. "With tentpole films, a strong animation slate and the sheer strength of our property portfolio as the foundation for our licensing program, we arrive in Las Vegas for this year's Licensing Show with unmatched opportunities."
Also a Supergirl movie could be in the works.
MovieHole.net reports that a new Supergirl clothing-line is the first phase in a company-wide push by Warner Bros. to get Supergirl back out there, with a possible film in development.
The first attack in a new all-encompassing marketing blitz thatll hopefully see young teenage girls go gaga for the 'Supergirl' brand - the same way they do, say, Minnie Mouse or Dora the Explorer - is about to begin in the form of a massive clothing and merchandising launch that'll put Kara's 'S' in a million places at once. Those involved in the launch of this new Supergirl garb blitz say their job is merely the first cog in a massive wheel that'll spin out new 'Supergirl' material over the next couple of years. One of the other cogs, of course, is the feature film that'll relaunch Supergirl back onto the big screen for the first time since 1984.
Now this, mind you, is not something my contacts know a lot about - being that it's not 'their department' but what they do know is plans are definitely afoot to bring 'Supergirl' back to our screens. And soon.“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

Re: Superman Man Of Steel
Comingsoon.net posted some photo's of the Superman and Jor El costumes. While I still prefer the Christopher Reeve or Brandon Routh costumes over this, it's not too bad. The no red trunks still bothers me but after reading the recent comics I'm getting use to it. I do think the blue is too dark. The Jor El costume is just ugly and bad there's no two ways about it.“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Re: Superman Man Of Steel
I really love the design of Jor El's suit. I'm sure the lighting will be better in the film or at least I hope so.
As much as I miss the red midsection colors the design of Supe's suit really pulls you into that big-*** S on his chest.

Re: Superman Man Of Steel
The only thing I don't like about the new suit is the belt area - should've followed the reboot and made it red. Other than that, I think it's fine.
Now why can't they just release a freakin' teaser?!Comment
