    Me too

I think the footage was taken down but I have it up on my You Tube channel now so here it is embedded. I did rename it like the original but I went with the code name Superman Returns was filmed under instead of the "Monkey's on Steroids".

After Smallville and the past Superman movies, I wouldn't mind seeing some more of Superman's rogue gallery even though he has one of the weaker set of enemies imo. We could see Doomsday, Braniac, Bizarro, or Darkseid which would be quite cool in any of the sequels.
I still think that Superman's rogue gallery is on the weaker side vs. other superheroes across DC and Marvel. All the ones you mentioned and I pretty much mentioned make up Supes major villains give or take a few that I left off.

I'm hoping that MOS does very well, this stop and restart with Superman kind of sucks. I enjoyed Superman Returns for what it was and Brandon Routh did a good job in the role. In many ways I am glad about the reboot, I did hate this Superman had a baby with Lois that he was unaware of.

Yeah I liked Returns and Routh I really thought he nailed both roles. I would have liked to have seen what Bryan Singers 3 film plan was I know his sequel did involve Braniac. Before Returns though it had been 18 years since the last Superman movie, but under Singers story line he was picking up 5 years after Superman II so in that 3 and 4 never happened. As great as the original Donner film was and Returns was paying tribute to it and Chris Reeve its going to be nice to see a reimaging of Superman on film. Even Smallville was some what based off the Donner universe.

That was one thing that I had found cool was that Singer was continuing Returns off of Superman II 5 years later. Superman III wasn't too bad since I like Richard Pryor, but boy was Superman IV atrocious. I guess there is an extended cut out there of Superman IV which helps the film. I don't think the Anthology on Blu-ray had this extended cut.

Back to Returns, Brainiac would of been cool to see in a feature film since he wasn't done justice on Smallville. Same goes with Doomsday in Smallville.

Yeah IV was bad and the Blu-Ray Anthology doesn't have the extended cut it's only in stereo also no 5.1 dolby . Here is the plot I read for Singers sequel also rumored to be named Man Of Steel

Thanks for posting the original plot on the sequel to Returns. Yeah, you are correct that it was also going to be called The Man of Steel. I really liked where they were going with this, until Supes son Jason is involved again. Supes was never supposed to have kids and they go this stupid route in the movies.

Supes was a creeper in Returns, though. It was hard to root for him in a lot of instances.

I'm not much for flying superheroes, at least not on the movie screen.

I like Iron Man for Tony Stark. Anything Iron Man related involves the fact that he has some cool gadgetry, including Jarvis. Neo (if he counts) doesn't really use flying as one of his bigger fighting tactics. I like his martial arts.

I'll post my Blu-ray collection soon enough. You'll get a good understanding of my favorite kinds of movies.

I am looking forward to this either way, probably because of Nolan's influence and Snyder's craft. I was just answering Leon's question.

Pretty much. I was surprised to see how many people liked Routh as Superman. I just...couldn't.

To go off this it's one of the reasons I like Superman I think, he was born with his powers and most of the time just wants to be a normal guy. As opposed to many other heroes when it's the opposite.

For me he had the Reeve look and mannerisms down pat that made him a perfect fit for the role if your going to continue off of the first two films.
