Re: 3D HDTV/Blu Ray Package: Thoughts?

Just wanted to post in here for a quick update for anyone who is interested in this set.

Do it. This set, in my limited time with it over the Holidays and the past week, is absolutely stellar. We watched some College Basketball & Football that is just sweet. My wife, who is a so-so fan of sports, sits and watches it with me because it's so cool. She says it keeps her interested.

We were watching some of those "Wilderness/Adventure" shows on n3D on Directv, and were both amazed. Not because of the show, but just the 3D picture. The shows were boring, but just watching it and admiring the picture was great.

I may pick up some 3D games for the PS3 or BlackOps for the 360 to try out more 3D experiences.

If you have questions, ask away. Not a formal review, but wanted to post some impressions. I'll try to throw a few pictures up of my setup soon. Will need to go through and hide some wires so you perfectionists won't laugh.

      That's great, congratulations!

I can't wait until I jump into this market. I'm not sure how much of a fan I am for 3D glasses or 3D tech in general (at least at home), but having that viable option is always nice, plus the TV specs are probably better for a 3D TV than a 2D TV anyway.
