    Oh, I agree. I'm just saying it's an adjustment for me because the very first time I tried using it I was in a poor-lit area. That's when I realized I have to treat it like reading a book.

      Congrats, CMH! I have read more books and newspapers in the past year than at any point in my life. I love the Kindle, and with the lighted cover, I take it everywhere. The only negative is that when I'm at my son's hockey practice, in the cold, the page transitions take a little longer. Otherwise, it's perfect.

      The only thing is I kind of want the Fire, and my son is chomping at the opportunity to inherit mine.
