Re: Plasma or LCD? - The TV Thread
If it's not working after them, contact DarbeeVision through e-mail or phone, and they'll probably be able to help you out. The guy himself (Darbee, that is) seems very reasonable; he posts on the thread for this product on AVS, and it's like he will be reasonable if something goes defunct.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Plasma or LCD? - The TV Thread
Saw this Panasonic plasma at Costco this evevning. Seems like a heck of a deal with some nice specs. Not interested in 3D or internet capability. Any thoughts? I've never owned a plasma but I was amazed at the picture quality.

The other tv I'm considering is a 46" Samsung LCD 1080p for $679.

Which seems like a better deal and better tv? Thanks!PSN: sportdan30

Re: Plasma or LCD? - The TV Thread
Just bought the LG 55LM7600. Sick tv. By far the most popular tv at our store. Reviews on it are high and it secured my BB Silver Premier status. I should have it Wednesday. Excited to see what the Darblet does with this thing.Comment

$699 ...free shipping and no taxes
Might be able to find better on Black Friday. I wouldn't camp out for one of the cheaper brands though.Comment

Re: Plasma or LCD? - The TV Thread
Those door buster TVs go quick. Unless you live close to a Best Buy, Target, etc
and don't mind camping out Thanksgiving afternoon I'd consider those lost causes. Better chance at scoring quality HDTV online.Comment

Re: Plasma or LCD? - The TV Thread
Well yesterday was the last day my TV should have been here of the 7-10 day window they gave me. Ive been handed over to the costco resolution team, yet the guy wont answer his phone or call me back. And the Shipping company who moved it from LA to South Bay in one day says the 5 hour trip to deliver the TV wont happen untill Oct.
