And even though it stated that it runs through 12/25 it appears that its dead already. I guess a lot of people took advantage of this and so it was axed, didn't last long unfortunately as I was hoping to use it today as I just saw this post.Comment

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread

I ended up buying a Samsung 55" 4K TV (UN55KU6300) for $600 with no tax/shipping included. Only downside is that I bought it for my new house I'm building so it's going to sit in the box until. It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread

Just ordered two of them in case I wanted to use it twice.

Seriously though. I know before 4K the cheapest HDMI cables were fine. Now I hear a lot mixed stuff. Like needing a 2.0 or 2.0a, high speed, certain kind to get HDR, certain kind for gaming.

I'm sorry, I'm just getting into the 4K world. And want to make sure I have the right stuff.Last edited by PVarck31; 11-28-2016, 05:43 PM.Comment

2.0a is what you need for 4K HDR.Just ordered two of them in case I wanted to use it twice.

As long as it's 2.0a compliant, the cheapest ones are still fine. HDMI is a digital signal, you either get all of it or you get none of it.badComment
