Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread
On the Hisense, I'm watching tv, Netflix, and playing the ps4 pro. Hdr enabled I'm not seeing any input lag. Granted, I don't play any twitch shooters, so I can't comment on that. 2k and ratchet and clank, hdr enabled, I can't tell a difference in input lag. Both control and feel great.
Also, the upscaler in this set is excellent. Watching standard cable, football games look excellent. And they're broadcasting at 720p/1080i. We love the set.Twitter - WTF_OS

Where do you have your HDMI plugged in for your cable box??? Are you saying your broadcast cable is up-scaling too, because mine isn't, and I don't know if I'm doing something wrong?N.Y Mets

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread
I tend to notice input lag on MLB the show instantly. Sometimes you can't really notice it until you play on a set with really low input lag and then try another tv.

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread
After reading through this thread, I picked up the Hisense 50H8. I wanted a second tv for my basement. For the money you can't go wrong. Anyways for those of you that have the H8 where did you find the best settings for it?Comment

LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread
So far I'm very happy with my purchase. I am 8' from the TV which is great for viewing and gaming. It's also eye level and I don't really want to mount it even though I know it would probably be more aesthetic. I will revisit that decision after I get the rest of the living room figured out.
FPS was great as I didn't experience lag and haven't noticed any motion blur with game mode.
I'm going to mess around with settings in the near future. I personally want to find that happy medium between movie and blow torch lol
PS: after setting it up the 65" was the right call to spend the extra cash. It's the perfect size for the room. Wouldn't want it any smaller

Generally regarded well for their calibration. Others as well recommend going on the AVS forums and looking up your TV's thread. Good luck!

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread
I'm getting the Samsung http://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-...?skuId=5147600 this Sunday when it's bundled with an Xbox slim, for 750.00. Anyone have this or similar 55" 4K tv? Going from 50" Panasonic plasma. Will I see a big difference?Comment

I grabbed the 40 inch version of that for 350 when it was on sale for the bedroom. I like it.

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread
I need some help and I can't seem to find anything on it.
I have a bluetooth soundbar and a bluetooth capable tv. I paired them just fine when I got both a week ago. All of a sudden they got unpaired. So I went into the tv mode where you pair them and it said they were paired but it still wasn't working. I tried to refresh like 10 times and nothing. So I decided to try deleting the pair and now it wont even recognize the soundbar at all.
What can I do to fix this?Comment
