Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread

But really they didn't price match. You paid the same for an open box item and as a new factory sealed item. You still got the short end of the stick.Comment

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread

Good point, the warranty is still fully valid though. If I hadn't paid for it with a lot of gift cards I probably would have just gone ahead and ordered it new and returned the old one, but then I'd be paying $400 out of pocket instead of just $230ish. FWIW the open box one is Geek Squad Certified, which probably just means it turns on lol.Comment

It's not that big of a deal, but I know why it would bother some people. I did it yesterday. The ads are very small and only visible on the smart hub on the corner. I hope if many people complain they'll get rid of it.

Yeah, it's very small. Most won't even notice I'm sure.

It's sad but it's just what I expect out of everything.

Ads pop up constantly in every feature of my technology. I don't think it's going away any time soon.

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread

Out of LG, Sony, Samsung and Vizio, I'd rank Vizio last. What you probably say was a 70" E series, which would fall along the same lines as the 6300 Samsung. If it's this one, it's also native 60 hz.PSN-Shugarooo

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread

I love Vizio. And remember, you won't have a Sony or Samsung in your house to compare it to. I do agree only get a 120hz screen though, especially with sports. 60hz in HD with fast moving sports looks bad IMO.
