I'm tempted for the Hisense, but probably just waiting a bit.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Yeah...I bet my wall could handle a 65", but going from 42" to 55" would be a great increase for me. I was struggling with price since I thought I'd need bigger, but if you can stick at 55" you get great deals. Something in manufacturing or whatnot jacks the price way higher when you go above that I've noticed.

And it's not just 10" either, if you do the math it's quite a bit more than that because it's overall bigger as a whole (kind of hard to explain but I remember reading about pizzas and why you should always get the large for value, it's not 14" versus 16", its the entire multiple of it, same concept)Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

If that doesn't concern you, than that's fine, but the difference in PQ with HDR is stunning and takes 4k to another level

Alright for those looking for a deal here you go...
Confirmed this is a Hisense Television even though is says Sharp. For those who didn't know Hisense brought Sharp.
This will run you $1150 shipped. What a Helluva deal... For a Full Array Local Dimming Set with almost 200 zones and HDR
Here's more info from the SHARP Website..

1292.58 inches² vs 1805.34 inches²
29% more screen viewing area.
Choosing a new TV for your room can be a daunting challenge. The market has never been more complicated, with dozens of new models released each year and a mountain of marketing jargon to work through.
I don't buy this exactly since there is more to 4K than just the resolution on a quality TV.Comment

Yeah I agree but my biggest problem is I currently have a 70" set. Going from that to 55" might just put me into anaphylactic shock.Comment

- High Dynamic Range (HDR)-Compatible - Supports HDR from USB input
- Brightness: 420nits
Thus, not very bright and no HDR gaming.Comment

FF, that SHARP offers full HDR 10 processing. Along with Quantum Dot Tech and 192 Zones of FALD making it a direct competitor to the big players. Especially at the price point in the article I posted. Not to mention that's not even Hisense flagship 2017 model H10
Now that Vizio has also been brought by LeEco and were not sure what exactly LeEco is doing outside of a couple of sets they are already offering, Hisense is positioning themselves very nicely to gain some market share.
