Even if I only go the Pro route for now and upgrade the TV later. Brought it up to my wife and she didn't seem to thrilled about me getting a new TV when I don't really need one. I already have 3 Samsung flatscreens in the house as it is. Lol.

I challenge you and raise you a Vizio P-series good sir....

But in all seriousness....the choices we have in the realm of 4K are getting better and better with each iteration....But man....the prices sure are showing it!

This now brings me back to the SONY 900E. This TV looks stunning as I've seen it in BB running a Sony 4k loop. Man that trilluminous color hardware is a beast, and the motion was great

I'd rather have the 930E, 10x extended dynamic range pro, grid array, same processor in Sony Z9D.

Speaking of older tvs, don't feel bad, I paid $3,800 for the first HDTV I ever bought (and one of the first period) at Circuit City (remember them?)

That was like 2005 or 2006, can't recall. It was a 50" Samsung. I still have it and it still is chugging along too.

I remember spending $1,500 for a 26 inch Samsung tv like 13-14 years ago lol..

My wife's seat is closer to the TV than mine. She told me the 65 was really big and she needs some getting use to that size.

I personally think 65 is too big, and she's not gonna like it because she will see all the small imperfections in the picture due to being so close.

I'm thinking I'm gonna have to stay 55, which in that case I'm thinking of grabbing b the B6.

I also like the new SONY XBR900E Full Array Local Dimming set. Unfortunately this set won't get Dolby Vision. It's a couple of hundred less.

My only hesitation on the OLED is my grandson uses our family TV a lot, and I'm afraid of image burn in because kids will be kids.

I was going to get this set too. I also was a bit scared about burn in, but I owned a plasma before and that wasn't such a big deal. What stopped me especially with the B model was all the threads on Avsforums complaining about Judder and motion blur issues. This is such a beautiful tv though. I've seen many good deals on this set on eBay and other online stores.

I have never heard of this brand but it seems to have fantastic reviews for a $500 TV.

Also, does anyone have any experience with this Sony TV?

Scott, the 930E is a 1,000 more. I get better processor all the other stuff plus DV and HLG firmware update, but I personally don't think i can't justify that extra 1,000

I don't have a pro but I am really glad I upgraded because I went from a 37 inch TV to a 55, and from a 720p TV that upscales to like 1080p to a 4k. So with going from 720p upscale compared to having ever thing in like 1080p and just having a newer better TV ever thing looks much better then my old TV plus having like 4k Netflix and 4k bluray's granted I only have 1 movie in 4k right now.

Man, the reviews for the 50" Hisense are really making me want to get one. Apparently one of the best selling TVs in Asia. For $500 it looks to be a steal. Especially for just being used as a gaming TV.

I think my phone is due for an upgrade and Best Buy is offering a $200 gift card with a new Samsung Galaxy activation. Just the phone I want too. May jump on this and put it towards a Hisense 50" 4K. Gonna go to Best Buy later and check it out.

Damn you MLB The Show 17! Lol.

The Hisense H8C 55" is the commonly accepted Operation Sports Budget recommended 4K. I do recall reading you don't want the 50" Hisense though because it's a different panel manufacturer and it's not as good.
