    48 - $935
    55 - $1,105
    65 - $1,615
    77 - $2,550

For those with Oleds are you guys putting HDR tone mapping on or HGIG? I have my C1 on HGIG and it looks good for most games but I noticed it’s a bit dark for some games. Like for madden with tone mapping on it looks a lot better.

If you ever wanted a C1 or an extra one, time to buy is now, they are heavily discounted as stores make room for the C2. Best Buy have C1 55 inch for $1,099 right now.

I always use HGIG. From what I understand it's the best for getting the intended HDR picture. Tone mapping kinda blows out the highlights for me. Especially in Madden. I think what you might be seeing with Madden is that it's poorly mastered in HDR. It tends to look too dark in shadows from the sun or stadium. I think that's a Madden thing and not a HGIG thing.

But like I always say, go with what looks best to you. I got used to it with Madden and never bothered changing it.

Really trying to decide wether to pull the trigger on a C1 since they are so cheap right now. Would be replacing my CX. It’s in my man room so the cx would turn into a monitor for my iRacing set up.

Just trying to decide if I should hold off for the C2. Don’t need a TV but these prices are low.

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread

So I got the LG C1 a month ago. I love the TV. I finally hooked up my 7 year old PS4 up to it.

I was playing The Show 20 and the lag is very bad. It's mostly shown when using the pitching meter. I have the settings on Game Optimizer and PS4 set for 1080P.

Any other ideas to help? The HDMI cable was also probably 7 years old so I ordered a new 2.1HDMI that should arrive tomorrow.

I've been playing on a 12 year old Samsung TV and never had any issues.

Judging by all the reviews, the Samsung S95B OLED appears to be the new TV king.

Biggest thing for me with and Sammy sets is I still don't believe Samsung supports Dolby Vision.

Have you seen the S95B in person yet? Thinking about upgrading from my CX. The thing about Sony is if the extra $ be worth it over S95B. Also could DV be added via update?

It can be, since it is software based but I doubt Samsung will do it since historically they never seem interested in it. Even without Dolby Vision, the S95 is already selling quite well. Their price point is great for how good their OLED is. In the end Sony will always have the best processing chip, but how many will be willing to pay the extra money ? $500 or less extra, people might bite. $1,000 extra ? Only the true enthusiasts will.

Curious what LG will come up with next year. They went from the long time ruler to second place last year to this year 3rd best.

My C1 is still first place in my heart. Plus it was way cheaper lol.

Not yet, hoping to see it soon though. Dolby Vision will never be added to Samsungs. They don’t want to pay for the rights to Dolby.
