I agree. I finally got caught up and I really like where it's headed. My problem is the time slot. I always have to DVR it because I'm watching the ESPN college basketball game at that time usually.

Its a bad time slot, I am sure alot of people they aren't counting are DVRing it.

People are silly, they would rather watch reality garbage than a good drama. I bet that you could just have a reality show about people farting and it would do better than most dramas.

I hope this show lasts, its the only show I am watching right now.

I'm serious, if this show gets cancelled, I've lost all hope for the future of television. HBO will be the last spot you'll be able to get a non-crime, non-reality series to watch.

Its not FX's fault though. The show is in a time slot that other shows have done well in. Sons of Anarchy has the same slot and is a hit. Same with Rescue Me. Same with Justified last year. The show just isnt connecting with the general public.

You're right. Justified just pulled in 3.4 million for it's season 2 premiere.

It's kind of funny. A show about boxing that keeps taking shots at MMA and crying about how boxing used to be relevant and nobody is watching.

I've heard 2. Lights' father called it trash when they were watching in the bar in last week's episode. The gangster also said MMA lacks the finesse of boxing.

I think thats realistic though. Both characters are older though and thats how most older people feel about MMA.

Yeah, I am sure an old school boxer and trainer in Lights dad would despise MMA.

And they also took a shot at boxing when Lights said there is no bigger ticket than a world class prize fight and his dad said yeah, but your are lucky if you get 2 of those a year.

I'm in the same boat, I don't like MMA at all, but I recognize that boxing has put itself in the position its in and MMA popularity will definitely surpass it if it hasn't already.

And then when they did turn ONE tv to it, they couldn't get the bar to turn on any sound......

I'm already excited for next Tuesday. I want to see what type of shady deal is going on behind the upcoming fight. You know Lights is going to get busted up bad.

Its hardly the same thing. Crying about one sports lack of popularity and taking direct shots at the other sport. But you guys keep justifying it any way you can.
