Re: Lights Out On FX 1-11-11
Damn it!!!!!!
We all knew it was coming. We could have 5 people farting in an empty room on a reality show and it would get more viewers.
I'm not even sure why I start watching TV series, every single one I like gets cancelled.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

Same thing happens to me too. So many great shows that I have watched get canned in the first season is just upsetting.Comment

Re: Lights Out On FX 1-11-11
Looks like we get to see the fight between Lights and Death Row. I hope its a classic episode and this season/series goes out with a bang.
If they could find a way to wrap this up in that final episode it would be great. I'm sorry to see this end, just hope it doesn't end on a cliff hanger going into the 12rh round or something.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

The storyline though is/was awesome though. They did a great job of showing distratcions leading up to the fight. I am going to miss the show.
It would b awesome if someone could continue the story with a novel if they are going to end the series.
At least they showed us the fight so we got a little closure. Really going to miss this series. May have been my favorite TV series of all time.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

Re: Lights Out On FX 1-11-11
Enjoyed this series a lot. The boxing bits weren't very good in the final episode, but other than that it was a solid episode. I would love to see this story play out and find out how Lights deals with the criminal charges and how and if he defends his heavyweight title. Maybe Johnny could have made a comeback too, that would've been fun to see.PSN: Koolie_G

Re: Lights Out On FX 1-11-11
We watched the series finale last night and I was so sad to see this show go. Forget the in-ring boxing which was terrible, but the character development and storylines really had me hooked. I think I am taking a break from watching shows during their first season run. I'd rather watch these shows later on DVD or Blu-ray knowing that they were only one season and not be invested like watching it week to week. This one though was unexpected from FX as they do not really cancel shows in their first season, but I guess they are starting to.
It felt like Reynolds threw the fight there towards the end.........does anyone feel the same way or was it just bad acting in the ring? I almost felt like he had given up.Comment

I wonder if this show was based on MMA instead of boxing, could it had more viewers? Then we would have probably lost the aspect of evil promoters if it was MMA, but the writers could have figured into it some way.Comment
