Blockbuster closed here too but there's 2 local stores. Which ironically are cheaper,more convenient and have more stuff than any online thing. Plus they're cool about letting me rent stuff early. So much of this episode was lost on me.

Wish I could say there was local stores, heck even county stores would be good enough. This isnt any video stores at all in our county. I miss renting games and not sure if I will take advantage of Black Friday sales.

I am guessing the next episode might be about the election, since they wont have time next week.

It doesnt even feel like 4 years ago.

I dont remember if it was the week before or the week after. I think this week will be a regular show. Next week might also be a regular show. Even if they already have a plan thought out, they do shows last minute(meaning after they do a show). So, I think I think they do a "election type show" on the week on Nov 14.

Switch to PC,everything is $5 within 3 months. (Exagerating of course but still...)

Did PC earlier in the year. Liked it, but my Labtop isnt a great gaming PC.

But, I might consider it around Black Friday. If I order off of Walmart, I dont have to use my information(out side of basic information). I might just do it. Especially since I can put money onto a gift card to buy it. So I wont have to use my debit card. i rather use a gift card. There is a few games I want(Max Payne 3 and Prototype 3)

It was the week of. Literally the day after the election. A lot of people wondered how they got the president right and if they wrote two versions, but they said they didn't. My guess is that they won't take that route completely this year.

What made it more special was that even though they basically do each episode last minute to keep it current with real life, they didnt have much time AT ALL for that episode. I am guessing that they either assumed correctly or got submitted the episode right on deadline.

I think they could do the same thing this year. But, that is something they have to plan ahead for if they want to do it.

If they are going to make an episode this time to do with the election, it will have to be on November 7th as that is the 14th and last episode of the season.

They can do it just like they did last time. Perhaps they will make two versions, though as Election Day nears, it will probably become more obvious who the eventual Presidential winner will be (it kind of is already). The election was pretty much a predetermined conclusion in 2008, so there wasn't really a need to make two episodes.

It wasn't bad. It was a take on the Lance Armstrong situation, only involving Jesus instead.
Had some funny moments, but nothing laugh out loud funny, IMO.But overall, it was alright..

Yeah. They said that they guessed who the winner of the election would be and basically if he didn't win, they would have scrambled to change it.

I thought it was really "meh". After the Shining one it was a disappointment.
I found myself not paying attention after a while.
