Yeah but how can you really like the season if you're bored by the main villains. They have been the main focus of the season so it's hard to say you're bored by them but entertained by the season.

Easily the worst main villain(s)* in Dexter history.

I still like the back stories and Mos Def was interesting.

That and the season opener were probably the best episodes.

The first few of the season were pretty good. It's just been this stretch since the Nebraska episode that has been bad. It also doesn't help when your main villains are just not interesting at all.

Basically they stretched out the show by a good season or two and completely changed the direction of it just so they could build towards a movie. And in that process, they gave us a terrible series finale just because they wanted to leave things open for the movie.

I see this show totally being left wide open like Entourage. I just can't see the writers having enough guts to kill or execute Dexter or be imprisoned for life. Like I said before I see a Silence of the Lambs type ending (they seem to like to reference famous movies as they have done with Fight Club and Seven already) where he gets away at the last minute (probably with Deb's help) and goes to Columbia or something to live incognito because Dexter would probably make a gazillion dollars with feature films especially considering the ratings will skyrocket to see what happens the final season.

I don't think they have the balls to kill him either, but they've made mention of it before. The episode in Season 1 where Dexter has a flashback to Harry showing him a guy getting the chair comes to mind.

Good point, I forgot about that season 1 scene but I think those were different writers. It seems like the writers thay have now were recruited from SNL.

Let's just hope they don't reference the Sopranos and try and get too cute with the ending. I appreciate and understand the Sopranos ending more now but back then it was like "WTF???? My cable's out, ******* it. I'm cancelling and getting a dish."

so, how long do we think Geller has been in the freezer? is it crazy to think Travis killed him AFTER Geller killed his sister?

Geller has been dead the entire time. Travis killed his own sister.

It would be a big stretch to think that Geller killed his sister at this point.
