I didn't like that Carter was killed off, not for the story's sake but I like that she believed in Harold and John's cause.

However, for the story's sake, with Shaw in the picture (and Zoe time to time) it was just too many female players in the group. Plus with Taraji now on Empire, it looks like she's just shifted roles.

Is Sarah expecting, did I read that correctly?

Yeah, this was all set in motion when she told the show about her status in the fall. Rumors were they were going to kill off a major character, so it would have been Root, Shaw, or Fusco . This circumstance might have bought all a little time or maybe even a reprieve. Personally I think Fusco is irreplaceable.

POI has been renewed by CBS but has only given it a 13 episode run. That to me sounds like they are going to end the show. I'd obviously prefer a 22 episode full season but it's better than having it pulled halfway through a season with an unresolved cliffhanger.

I'll take 13. I just read where CBS doesn't own the show so they lose out on the "off-network syndication" mega dollars, thus having less incentive to keep it around.

It was actually the 8th ranked show for the 2013-2014 season.

Well, this is unfortunate...

IMHO, this is one of the few shows that's actually getting MORE creative and compelling in it's later years...which is VERY rare...

As you pointed out though, the 13 episode run at least gives the creatives the opportunity to actually wrap this thing up...which should be entertaining...

If this show is in fact ending I'm going to miss the hell out of it. One of the best shows on TV for me.

Actually on any given episode between this, The Blacklist, Walking Dead, and Scandal they have all been my number one show. Can't pick one and stay with it.

Its going to suck seeing this show go if it is indeed the final season but as many of you have mentioned at least they will get a chance to wrap the show up and not just end on a cancellation.

After the first season I predicted five seasons and out, but I didn't know it would only be half a season.

This season ended pretty well though, I must say!

With CBS giving Sarah Shahi (Shaw) the title role in their upcoming Nancy Drew TV series it goes from virtual certainty to certainty that this season will be the series' last.

Not sure why they haven't made the official announcement yet.

I'm still surprised the show's ratings tumbled so quickly. Did the loss of
