I didn't really like the red herring plot of the past two weeks, it just made things a bit too melodramatic. If it wasn't obvious before its plain as day now that Jess and Nick will have a future together.

I also didn't like the Schmidt and Cece plot, but it was still a good story I just didn't like seeing Schmidt 1) break up with her and 2) Disrespect himself to that degree.

Overall the episode was good until the last 5-10 minutes and then it kind of made the last two weeks feel like a waste.

Yeah, I thought the last 5 minutes of the episode were terrible.

Regardless, strong freshman show that really hit its stride in the second half of the season. I look forward to next season.

I thought the second episode was better especially with Future Nick - I loved that storyline which is odd since I usually dislike him.

They've definitely cranked up Zooey's sex appeal.

I loved how Andy was the only sane person in the bathroom. At least they've made no qualms about making Jesse completely insane now.

The Romney act was hilarious.

CiCi = Damn.

I'm starting to like Jess' **** buddy a little bit more. The Nick/Jess storyline was kinda of blah, but I thought it was well acted. I loved the insert shot of Nick's routine with the peanuts at the bar.

First and third episodes were meh but the second one was comedic gold.

I never caught the last few episodes of season 1 for some reason, so I had to do that first before I could start watching this year.

That's done now, so I'll be catching up on this season shortly.

Also, having now rewatched the entirety of season 1, this is the best scene:



I couldn't find a gif of it, but my favorite of the many, MANY great lines from that sequence was "This is President Miller of Earth, I'd like to speak to the Galactic Emperor. [...] Yeah, it's about money."
