I've heard a lot about this over the past week or so, but am waiting on my invite to be sent to try it out for myself.

Anybody try it out yet?

I got my invite a few days ago. It's pretty awesome. It's like being able to play every song on iTunes for free.

I'm very pleased with it and would consider getting the mobile version. I'm having fun just throwing out songs and it finding them.

I don't think it's like Google+ where you as the user can send an invite. I believe it's on behalf of Spotify.

I think you just have to wait until they come to your e-mail address.

You can sign up for the two premium tiers without an invite

I just got the free version.....I gotta say its pretty awesome. It can play all of you itunes songs (even purchased if they have it on spotify) and even imports playlists. There are a few songs I have that won't play. Of note, it streams them even if you have them downloaded, so I've had a few skips of songs that I have downloaded on my computer

I'm gonna play with it some more. The main thing I need to decide is if I want to use it to discover new music and then buy it on itunes or should I pay $ for the premium and then be able to download all the songs I want, knowing they're tied to a subscription. I can say this in terms of music discovery this blows away pandora because you can chose specific playlists.

There is a potential this will replace itunes for me though

I think that given all that is offered, its pretty fair to have to pay for streaming. You can still stream pandora or slacker if you want to.

I went ahead and signed up the premium service. Every artist I typed in was on there, which was surprising.

EDIT: Almost every artist. I've had a few not show up now.

I got mine a few days ago, but really started using it tonight. I really like it. I've only had one issue with the ads. They can get kinda annoying when you're listening straight through an album you're streaming, but I can live with that. But I had an ad for Spotify premium that wouldn't go away. They usually have a timer, but this had none and wouldn't end. I even tried to play a song from my library but it told me I had to wait for the ad to end. I restarted it and all was well, but I thought it was strange.
