Listened to that song since you said that (haven't listened to the whole album yet. Perhaps later tonight). It was good, not their best though. I still like The 59 Sound and Old White Lincoln better.

Didn't get any responses when I posted about Baroness, not sure if it's because no one likes them, no one knows them, or they were already discussed earlier, but I'm gonna go ahead and share a couple songs anyway.

If forced to label them I'd go with hard(ish) sludge/rock:

The Killers show was pretty great. Most complete show I think I've been too, though a bit short at 90 minutes, it seemed longer than that.

Somehow I did not know the song A Dustland Fairytale existed before the show, despite owning the album it's from - Day And Age - for a good while now. It may now be my favorite song by them, lol

Saw 10 Years a few days ago. Awesome concert. Jesse's vocals were spot on and the new stuff they played sounded great. Looking forward to 'Minus the Machine' on Aug. 7th.

Yeah they're relevant. They're a co-headliner of a big festival here in DE. Jack White and The Black Keys are co-headlining, Death Cab for Cutie, Passion Pit, Cake, Lupe Fiasco, and many more will be there. Pretty sick event lineup actually. It's the first annual Firefly festival.

Anyone listen to Fang Island? They just released a new album last week that's infinitely better than their past releases. They really stepped up their game with this one IMO.

The Wonder Years are touring with We Are The In Crowd (ehhh) and Yellowcard (sweet). They'll be in Philly in mid November. Only been to a single show in my life, but Im pretty sure I'm gonna hit this one up. I might even be able to convince the girl to come. It's good pop punk, nothing scary. Lol

Incredible concert. Only downside was Our Lady Peace had to cut fan-favorite "4am" out of their setlist due to time constraints.
