Hooked up the Sonos Connect to a small sound system. Works as advertised.

Sonos never fails. They really have a great product. I've never had a single issue with a Sonos client besides people having troubles setting it up, really non tech savvy people that is.

The not having on or off buttons is a little weird (you don't really think of speakers as network devices like your router or modem) Had to check the Sonos forums to find that you don't need to unplug them
Picked up another Connect since I'll have a 3.1 setup in the living room and 5.1 setup in my bedroom. Can't just really justify the hefty price tag on the playbar and sub.
I hate everything about Bose. So I hope you didn't pay $1299 for it.
With tax it was closer to $1700. I like my Bose products. I have the Q15 headphones and the Soundwave system. I have had no issues with any of them...knock on wood.

At the end of the day...that's all that matters.
But you should not have paid a dime more than $1299. Amazon would have shipped it free. (No taxes depending on what state you live in)
