This. Any in-ceiling will be the ideal Atmos speakers, however with my ceiling I just don't have the space for it. Although you'll need a more powerful receiver to power them. I know the 720W will do a 7.2, not sure you have the room for a 7.2.4

Got everything all set up now, aside from the atmos speakers in the towers, need to get speaker wire at work tomorrow. That 15" subwoofer hits hard, I love it..

scott i'm confused about atmos, i looked on that denon receiver and it has no connections for "height speakers" like I thought I would see. I see those connectors on the $2899 receivers but not the $500 ones. How would it work with the "cheap" receivers?

would i just be using the 7.1 speakers i have and for the side speakers I'm using now the Atmos signal would go to them as well and I'd angle them toward the ceiling??

You need to find one that has a pre-amp out. You could go with this one for $999...http://www.accessories4less.com/make...eceiver/1.html

Oh I don't have it yet, Scott suggested it to me so that's the one I plan on buying sometime in May probably. It does look awesome.

Great setup you have there, Scott...

                    Looks awesome!

If possible, can you move those fronts off the walls a little bit? I think 12-18 inches is the sweet spot, especially where Klipsch has the ports placed in the back.

It's obviously something to play with, but I guess since it appears your room jets out behind the LF speaker to a corridor that you don't want it protruding too far away from the wall, either.

EDIT: Ah, never saw the picture above this one. What is over that railing to the left there?

Behind that is our concession area. Popcorn and drink machine. The railing leads downstairs.

Looks great, you need another sub to obtain symmetry though!

Haha there's no way I could do another 15" Sub, the bass from the one is plenty lol.

An SVS sub could do the trick.

Anyone know if it's possible to get songs from your phone on Spotify without having to manually search for and then add each song through Spotify?
